As someone who has to eat gluten-free I always communicate in advance and in the restaurant my needs. I did the same here. Unfortunately I had a good portion of gluten in my food even if I had called them before, had discussed the matter with the waitress and had asked again when the food was on the table. But I got reassured that it's gluten-free and I was happy to trust. But my stomach pain and the typical symptoms a few hours later told me something different. We arrived, had a reservation for 4 and didn’t liked the table we got (all the tables were literally empty, see picture) therefore we asked nicely if we could be seated in a different table!
