Owner, I have to update my review to point out the unpleasant fact. I had no any alcohol before I enter your restaurant. I stepped to the bar and politely asked employee if I can order a drink and sit outside. The answer was yes. When I was walking outside, a man suddenly spoke loudly to me "Can I help you"from one outside table. I didn't know him and need no help, So I said"no, thanks" and continue walking. Because I smoke so I took a ashtray with me to outside table. Then the man approached me rudely and loudly, he said he was owner and angry I didn't accept his "help", then impolitely asked me to leave. It is so funny I had confirm I can have a seat outside and a stranger was angry I didn't accept his "help" and told me he is the owner😂. I guess he think owner can behave like king to his customer. If you really think so, at least, please have a crown on your head, that can help customers easily identify who you are.

Happen to chance upon this place as I was escaping from the rain. The service staff was friendly, attentive and do all they can to make your meal as enjoyable as possible. I had great wine and pasta recommendation from my server, Paolo. He even asked if I like spicy after finding out I was from Asia and brought along chilli oil! The king prawns were fresh and grilled to perfection. I was taken by surprised by the quality of it when I took my first bite. They have a wide selection of wines, with different price range, depending on what you are looking for. The owner and his house dog were on site, and that definitely added to the character of the restaurant. There were many regulars and the owner also made a point to know the guests. This personal touch made this place stand out from the many restaurants I have been in a long time. I cannot wait to come back the next time and have a great experience again.

“Very accommodating owner, Guido” What an evening! Went for dinner after a day of lectures at a university polyclinic, with 2 of the lecturers joining. Guido himself took care of us from A to Z, literally. From suggesting the wine to taking our orders for the different “atto”s, primo then secondo then terzo, modifying from the set menu when requested. I chose the “straccetti di manzo”, which was 2 pieces of beef medium dome to perfect tenderness. He did not skimp on the parmiggiana whether shaved or grated. One drawback was that he didn’t have basilicum for the Insalata Caprese, he smartly used baby rucola which was not a problem. The bread was “excellente”. I asked for the tiramisu with amaretto, they brought the amaretto on the side, so I simply poured it in and it was fine. He never hesitated to catch the spirit of the fun, joking and teasing along in a brotherly mood and attitude. What an evening.

We made two visits to Vino e Gusto on our 6 day trip to Munich. First visit was on a day we arrived. We had made a reservation to this restaurant because we love Italian food and wine. We thought it would be nice to relax after the flight over a good dinner. We were very tired after the long day traveling but our trip got excellent start because of excellent food, wine and service although it was late and we were last customers. We decided to come again! On our last evening, after a long exploring day at Neuschwanstein Castle we were eager to have excellent pasta and good wine. We made no reservations but still we were warmly welcomed. We ordered pasta arrabiata and parmesan truffles pasta to share. This was the first restaurant that served the dishes separately for us to share so that we could enjoy the food when it was still warm. Both pastas and the wine was excellent. On top we got to share lovely creme brulee. Warm and friendly service with a perfect dinner really made our day! Two nights, different staff members and on both times we were very warmly welcomed and served. Thank you very much! Grazie mille!...

I went there with my friends for a nice evening, but that was not nice at all. We ordered two truffle pastas (one was mine), and unfortunately, they were overcooked—no question about it. These things happen, even to the best ones ;) When the waiter (extremely nice) noticed I hadn’t finished my dish, he asked how my €30 pasta was. I politely let him know, but didn’t ask for a discount or replacement—like I said, it happens to everyone. Shortly after, the owner sat down at our table, right next to me, and confronted me in front of everyone, insisting that what I said couldn’t be true. He said that all his customers find his pasta perfect and majestic, and that, being an engineer, he knows the pasta process perfectly, so I must be wrong. I tried to reply to him, but he told me to shut up several times—something no stranger has ever dared to say to me in such a way. Of course, we left immediately and will never return. In Italy, we say, “il cliente ha sempre ragione”. I don’t expect anything like that, but avoiding discussions of that level and not telling women to shut up when they want to speak would be...
