The last time I visited here I had an unforgettable experience for all the wrong reasons. We were waiting for a movie in the Kinomuseum with my wife who was 8 months pregnant. My wife told me she was very thirsty so we decided to sit down for a drink. After trying to get the waiters' attention for 5-10 minutes, I decided that it was quicker to walk up to the bar. However, the stuff at the bar turned a blind eye to me, until one of them told me to wait at my table. At that moment I saw a tray with many glasses of water. I asked a waiter if that was tap water, and after he confirmed, took one to return with it to my thirsty pregnant wife.
At that moment I heard a very harsh and loud voice commanding "put it down!" I turned to see a man who later turned out to be the manager of the café. I was a shocked about the commanding voice and paused, glass in my hand, trying to understand what was going on. I looked at the man and waited for an explanation. The man turned red and shouted even louder "Hände weg! Du nimmst mir hier nichts weg!" ("Put your hands away! Don't you dare taking anything from me!"). I tried to remain calm and asked what was the matter. The man shouted again "Put it down I told you! Was that not clear enough?!" I had an incredible urge to splash the water into his red face, but restrained. I put down the glass and told the man what he deserved to hear in the most civilized manner I could conjure.
I turned to the other waiters who gathered at the scene and looked at me apologetically. Then I asked if the man was the manager, and if this was the way he always treated customers. The first question was answered with yes, the second didn't need an answer - it was enough to see the looks at the waiters' faces to know that was a yes.
I recommend avoiding this place...
Read moreI will write in English so non-Germán speakers can also understand... me and a friend went today to the cafe with our buggies, after finding a place, sitting down and getting out order from the waiter,he tells us we have to put our buggies outside, because we were bothering him... Funny enough, they waited for us to order, then told us we couldn't be inside with the buggies... but we could leave them outside and hold our babies in our arms...?! After telling him we were not ok with that and that I wanted to write a complain he answered "goodbye! Leave! Goodbye!" I will for certain not return to this place again, and i will leave it clear that this is a non-friendly place... P.S. Our babies were sleeping so they were not being...
Read moreWe were there at 15.30 on Monday the 29th of January. The waiter , wo was attending the tables, was more than impolite and unprofessional. First of all we had to call him because after 15 minutes waiting, nobody had asked us what we wanted. When he finally came, we asked for a coffee with warm milk and his answer was that we had to ask for something that were written in the menu. It is not only that the answer is far away from what one expect from a professional, but also that in the menu it is not described which ingredients content each coffee. For sure the man is not the owner from the place. At the end we didn't drink anything....
