I had a wonderful dinner at 10 Urban Roof with my partner last week. The restaurant is located on the 10th floor of Radisson Blu Park Hotel and offers a stunning view of Athens and the Acropolis. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic, with soft lighting and music. The menu was a fusion of Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, created by chef Hervé Pronzato. We ordered rib eye with wild mushrooms, Jerusalem artichoke puree, and Porto sauce for me, and salmon with ginger sauce, rice noodles, and vegetables for my partner. Both dishes were delicious and well-presented. The meat was tender and juicy, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The fish was fresh and flaky, and the sauce was spicy and tangy. The portions were generous and satisfying. The service was excellent as well. The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. They made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our meal. My wife and I went two times at this place. The ambiance and the environment are great. It looks like a little paradise in a concrete jungle. The first time, we were very well welcomed and we sat into one of the comfortable sofas, ordered two cocktails plus a few beers and I could swim. The mojitos truly lacked rum inside. I’m still thinking if they really put some into them… that’s why we decided to go on beers. The second time, we wanted to go again, order mojitos (asking them to put a normal dose of rum inside) and use the swimming pool a little bit. As soon as we arrived, the waitress asked us if we were staying at the hotel, we said we are not staying in the hotel and they ask us to pay 14€ per person to stay here. We told her that a couple of days ago we came here, we ordered a few drinks and when they asked us if we were staying at the hotel and we replied that we don’t, no one mention anything about a price entrance. So the waitress just told us that this was a mistake and we have to pay.
