We gave local Greek beverages the test!
We wanted to try the local Greek alcohol and so we decided to give this place a try. It was great! By the way drinks in Greece are really cheap! 4 euros for a drink! That's a steal!
We asked the server to bring us local drinks and he served us Tsipouro, a grape-distilled spirit scented with anise. We also tried Ouzo a strong alcoholic made out of pure ethyl alcohol flavored with anise and possibly other spices. Lastly we drank mastiha - a liqueur seasoned with mastic, a resin with a slightly pine or cedar-like flavor gathered from the mastic tree, a small evergreen tree native to the Mediterranean region.
By the end of it, let us say I had trouble standing up and walking. Luckily our hotel was just round the corner - so we made it back okay. I had a bit of a headache the next day. But it was worth...

One of the workers came up to me and said it would be 3 extra euros to sit down, so I got up and drank my espresso standing. My brother and my sisters were drinking and my brother offered to order another drink to sit down so he orders an orange juice for my sister. The lady comes and tryâs to recharge us for our entire order after we already paid in front. She tried making my brother pay 11.50 euros for a single orange juice. Usually Iâve been dealt with great hospitality in Greece, but this place has tried to take advantage of us just because we are young and American. Terrible service, the coffee wasnât anything...

I ordered an americano and a pastry (marked at 2.80), total came to 6.80. After absentmindedly handing them my card, I did the math and realized yep, 4.00 for an americano⊠I said wait no I donât want the coffee and the woman made eye contact me and swiped the card anyway. 2 minutes later another guy orders an americano and gets it for 2 euros so I decided to say something.
