Public bathroom — Local services in Athens

Other reviews are deceptive. That are reviewing the bathroom in tourist center. That bathroom is better. To get there, look for the wood and metal slatted door. The door will look closed but there’s a walking door hidden by some tree branches. In there is a bathroom with its own entrance which does not require you to enter the tourist center.

The bathroom located at this point on the map is down some marble stairs and that’s where the nicety ends. After that it’s a dark cave with no privacy, cleanliness, or even toilet seats. The men’s room was too dirty to even think of using, but my partner said the women’s side was fine but not having a toilet seat was weird.

Decent for a quick urinal with a dive...

The public restroom near the Acropolis is nice. There are mens' and womens' stalls, the stalls are clean, the toilets flush properly. It's just like any public restroom, really. It looks and is a bit weird, though. You may have to crouch down to get to it - the doorway's a bit short + you have to go down some stairs. Also, a member of staff will give you paper towels, since there aren't any dispensers/holders near the wash basins. But that isn't really a problem. If you gotta go and happen to be near the Acropolis, I recommend this public restroom. The best part is...
