This restaurant had the worst service of any place I have been in my five weeks of traveling across twelve different countries in Europe. I'm all for relaxed service speeds and understand that service style is different than in the States. However, when your meal takes 2 hours and every single other table in the place has been cleared and reseated at least once in the time it took to finish your meal and pay for it, there is something wrong. My mother and I ordered our appetizer, wine and meal all at the same time, maybe 10 minutes after sitting down. After almost 20 minutes of waiting and looking like fools trying to flag down our waiter to ask two different times, we finally got our wine. It took another 10 minutes for our appetizer. By this time we have finished our water and would like to order another bottle. When our server brought out our food after another 15 minutes, we asked for another water and the server acknowledged our request. After another 10 minutes pass and the tables on both sides have ordered more drinks and received them we asked the waiter again for more water. We never ended up getting the water as the waiter never even rang it in. An hour and a half after being seated our dishes were finally cleared away. It took another 35 minutes and asking for our check 4 times and catching the manager to finally pay our check. As a server myself, I understand forgetting to put in drinks or the kitchen running slow. But when it takes requesting every single thing except for the main course at least twice and the server has a poor attitude and isn't even remotely apologetic, I lose my patience and any form of understanding. The food was delicious but slightly over priced and the atmosphere was lovely. However, the atrocious service absolutely ruined any positives that came...

At the begining of our subpar meal a candle was knocked over by the wind and the hot wax spilt all over my leg, leaving a large and painful burn. The waiter not only offered no componsation for this, but they proceeded to make a joke of the situation, bringing me a tomato on a plate to take care of the clearly very painful situation as they laughed at me. As the night proceeded the waitor continued to mock me simply because I asked for my dish to be served without potatoes. When I insisted he treat a paying customer with a little more respect, especially after I had “so humorusly” almost been set on fire, he decided to ignore us for the rest of the evening, behaving as a child would. When we were finally able to get his attention he insisted that I had cursed at him, which I had most certainly not. He also blammed his inability to provide proper service, or decent at that, on the restaurant being “busy”. However, a vast majority of the waitstaff seemed to have plenty of time to flirt with the girls at the restaurant and bumm a few cigarettes as they exchanged social medias (quit professional, clearly). Regardless of the waitstaff’s complete lack of people skills and childish manorism, the restaurant also charged us excessively for both bread and water, neither of which we had asked for. If you intend on enjoying every moment of your time in Greece, please do not waste your time, or money, at this...

Very nicely located. The outside area is beautiful, the building is even more, when you pass it through on the way to the bathroom. It must be quiet something when tables are inside in winter. Service slow and indifferent. Waiters openly show their impatience when you're a bit slow to decide. My son had a greek salad and I took the cherry tomato salad. The Greek salade mostly had tasteless cotton textured tomatoes ( like the ones that are picked too early and stored in a fridge of a warehouse for weeks) and 4( FOUR!) small pieces of cucumber. My salad however, was a better hit. Overpriced. It is a definately TOURIST TRAP. You can stop by to enjoy a coffee there, if you don't mind paying it 1-1,5€ more than elsewhere, because the terrace is really cute any time of the day, but I do not recommend eating. The poor service and dishonestly made food kind of negatively affected our mood for couple of hours. It is unfortunate, as the location and decor could have made it a place to be at. But...

We really enjoyed the place and I strongly recommend it. You would normally be sceptical about a restaurant on a touristic square like Lysistrati (the "Byron place"), but we liked the atmosphere under the trees and gave it a try (I could see Hadrian's gate from my place). The service is discrete, but effective and friendly. Nice music. Prices no higher than average. We ordered mousakas, fried calamares and Greek salad and liked all of them. We also got nice rye bread and olives with oil and herbs. The Chatzimichalis wine is acceptable, but, as mostly in Greece, for good wine you probably have to order a bottle. Aperol with loads of ice, not strong, also typical of Greece. There are even some Greeks eating here. One half of the location is more like a café, you can even find some newspapers inside. We had baklavas and Greek coffee for dessert, everything really tasty. Got mastika from the house. Paid 56€ + 3€ tipps.

This restaurant is located at the foot of the Acropolis, in the heart of the tourist area, making it convenient and popular. The dining environment here is elegant and comfortable, but the prices are quite high. The avocado salad is very tasty, but its shortcoming is that the avocado is not ripe enough, making it tough and dry; otherwise, it could be described as a perfect dish. The accompanying bread is half fresh, soft rye bread and half crunchy nut breadsticks, which are delicious dipped in the provided tomato sauce. The eggplant casserole is prepared in an innovative way, cooked individually in small clay pots, which looks more upscale, but the flavor is somewhat dry compared to the traditional method of baking in a large pan and then cutting into servings. The service is excellent—warm, quick, and attentive.

Friendly and very empathetic personnel. Well prepared and tasty meals. We ordered dishes for three people: - Sea bream with spinach - Shrimp linguini with prawns - Grilled salmon. All nicely presented and very tasty. Nice environment inside or out. Quiet surroundings on the terrasse where the restaurant is placed under trees with small led light chains. The restaurant is situated only a side step away from the walking street and with a small uncovered ruin in front. Only very little an almost on noticeable noise from the traffic crossing the walking street. Even though the staff did their best, they seemed a bit too busy to really engage with customers, and we witnessed a few confusions - but friendly nevertheless. Photo depicts the shrimp linguini.
