DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO ENJOY YOUR VACATION IN GREECE. I went to this place on my school trip, we were around 25 people. The only reason the experience was fun was because there was dancing, singing, etc. and they involved us guests a lot (brought us on stage, etc.). Everything else was horrid. The waiters and owners were straight up rude to us. The food was bland, simple. We were served with chicken, rice, and potatoes. The chicken was soft and pinkish but because there were colored lights, I simply thought it was the lighting. It was the morning after, when one of the people in our group started throwing up, and then another one and then another. People started being sick exponentially and it just got worse and worse. That same day we were supposed to go to one of the islands, which means we had to take a boat. A chunk of our group stayed in Athens and were hospitalised for two nights for food poisoning. The rest of the group kept on getting sick on the way to the island and once arrived. By the night of the day after all 25 of us were sick. This literally ruined the whole trip as everybody was sick until we...

My fiancé and I found this Tavern through a tour and it was such an amazing experience! We paid a flat cost and were provided unlimited house wine (red and white), water, bread, appetizer, dinner (choice of meat), and dessert. There were also additional drinks for purchase (with our package) but we stayed with the house wine and water. I'm not sure if this is the standard package or due to the tour package we were on, but it was completely worth it! While you eat, there are performances going on, with singing and dancing that were so much fun to witness and participate in! There were amazing singers and dancers, some of which included audience participation that was also incredibly fun. I went up to dance with the performers and I can definitely say it is completely worth going up to dance. The performers are all very nice and they have infectious smiles, the really imbue joy into the show making it hard to do anything but smile, and clap along! I would highly recommend stopping by and enjoying the...

If anyone recommends this place to you, run... Run as fast as you can from it. Talk about a nightmare. Not even Gordon Ramsay can save this restaurant. The food is terrible and prices charged are those of a high end restaurant: 35 euros for a menu sounds OK, but when the food they serve you has been in the freezer for almost as long as the restaurant exists, it is definitely a robbery in disguise, and then they charge 17 euros for 2 beers and a bottle of water. I chose the fish, it smelled like freezer, it was as dry as if in a freezer for a long time, and it tasted even worse (did not eat it, as I was afraid of getting food poisoning). The service was below par, and the decoration belongs in the 80's, from where it should have never left. The ONLY thing that was worth it was the dancing (I could go without the singing). A suggestion would be for the dancers to go and perform in another restaurant. It should not be hard to find...

Located on a side street in Plaka, this was not my kind of place/restaurant. It has an interactive show that includes Greek singers and dancers who will pull diners on stage to join the dancers on stage. I went to this place as a part of a pre-arranged group dinner and is not the kind of restaurant I would go to on my own. The man who took our dinner orders had breath that smelled liked he had eaten a bowl of ashes. When I told him I was a vegetarian, I was served a plate of potatoes and rice. Let's just say they need to work on improving their vegetarian menu. I can easily promise that is a place I will never visit again.

Great combination of food and excellent entertainment for the whole family. We usually purchase the set price for the evening of about 30€ that includes food, drinks and entertainment. Good music, and entertainment with lots of laughs. Also, about six of the best Greek folk dances are performed in costume by excellent dancers. A great place to experience a combination of Greek food and culture in 2-3 hours. Call for reservations now.
