A great place worth for sharing. You can find this little coffee shop in close distance to Syntagma sq.
Third Place is a true family café, opened by Michael (a great low-profile barista) and his journalist wife Katerina. A zen vibe Berlin x Nordic style concept store with a nice walk in cafe and sit-down quick meal along with your flat white (or their mocha-inspired drink). Stepping inside feels like an escape from the noise of this big city, it seems like time stopped here. This is more of a liminal space, a true free-zone place, where the mind can wonder with a cuppa of the Ofellia premium specialty coffee. Or swing by just to see their awesome selection of small design objects and greet the cool duo of its owners and sometimes (if you’re lucky) the owners' doggie, Troufa, which strikes up for a tender ‘hi’. The place is always busy during peak times and is hard to find any free table, but it’s worth the wait, as the experience will speak for itself. The crowd inside is always made up of discerning travelers and some of the hippest crowd downtown. Settle into its long-communal table for a few solo hours with a good book/laptop and work your way through. When the weather’s nice, find a spot on the outdoor patio and enjoy the ultimate people-watching. In any ways, do yourself a favor and go find your...

The location is great, not far from a couple metro stations - I walked less than 10 minute walk from Monastiraki. Just far enough to be quiet and relaxing away from all the bustle of the crowd.
I was surprised to see so many interesting items on the drink menu from delicious teas, to fresh juices with carrot orange ginger to what looks like micro brews with just as interesting flavors like Strange Brew Jasmine
The staff seem very nice, the space is comfy and open with indoor and outdoor seating. Wifi worked great for me, some others mentioned a few issues at first but they also got some work done after settling in.
Great place for getting a little work done in a nice environment or just sitting by yourself or chatting with a friend.
I'll definitely be back for more, I had a hard time deciding with all the great menu options so need to sample some more! My first taste was...
Read moreI came based on the reviews I read. Unfortunately it was so hot there and the wifi is not good and doesn’t cover the whole place. I suffered to get my work done and eventually decided to go to Starbucks which was much better and the prices are the same!
—— An Edit to the owner’s reply. Thank you for your RUDE reply which represent how unprofessional and does not a accept a small “review” that exapains my experience . instead the silly reply you should think how to improve your place to avoid such an issue again. and yes this is why reviews were made. please you should learn how to accept a criticism, you opened a “coffee shop that supports working remotely” so you should expect some bad reviews! I came to get some normal work done, emails and some communications “remotely”. it was basic online work and yet the wifi was disconnecting every few minutes! Sorry now, if there’s 0 star or even negative I would give. unfortunately I can’t give less...
