An Unforgettable Dining Experience at To Rodi Restaurant
My partner and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at To Rodi Restaurant during our recent trip to Rhodes, and we’re still talking about it! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the warmest hospitality — the gentleman in the photo (I wish we had caught his name!) was truly the best host we've ever encountered. Friendly, genuine, and passionate about making our experience perfect — he made us feel like honored guests rather than customers.
Now, let’s talk about the food... 😍
We ordered the Octopus dish and the Prawns pasta, and both were nothing short of spectacular. The octopus was tender, perfectly grilled, and seasoned with that fresh Mediterranean touch that’s hard to find anywhere else. The prawns pasta was rich, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection — the kind of dish you remember long after the plate is empty.
The setting was charming and authentic, with a relaxed ambiance that added to the whole experience. You can tell this place is run with heart, and it shows in every detail — from the service to the food to the atmosphere.
If you're anywhere near Rhodes, do not miss this gem of a restaurant. To Rhodos Restaurant gave us one of the most memorable meals of our entire trip.

Read moreOur family loves good food, appreciates authentic cooking, simple dishes with a great flavor and cooked with fresh ingredients. Unfortunately our experience at the restaurant was a complete disappointment.
We placed our oder with a friendly but very by unattentive waiter so that we had to repeat our order 5 times in native Greek language.
The starter portions were small and overpriced - one slice of Pita bread for €2, 2 mini slices of plain bread for €3. The sardines were not grilled as per the menu but fried in oil and were by no means fresh. The calamari stuffed with cheese was partially raw. The sea bream pie - a local speciality - looked great, tasted ok but was for €30 totally overpriced. The Kleftiko lamb dish was extremely salty and the meat did not taste nice at all. Also the potato fries as a side dish were too salty. The Yiouvetsi dish tasted nicely and was well cooked .
Overall the experience was disappointing and well below the standard especially considering that we paid €35 per person with 2 beers and plain water as drink and three small starters for a...

Tranquility? Rhodes old town is swamped with tavernas, with faded photographs of plates of predictable food and pushy proprietors trying to entice you into their establishment, which can get very wearing and sometimes verges on aggressive. Not so here. To Todi is set back in a quiet corner of a pretty square away from all the the bustle. The raised garden at the back is especially secluded.
Food? A varied menu at very reasonable prices. I asked for something special (prawns and mussels on spaghetti). The waiter and chef obliged and it was delicious. My wife enjoyed grilled sardines. We shared a plate of rocket with parmesan shavings which tasted beautifully sweet; I meant to ask ... I suspect it had a Greek honey dressing?
Service? Christoph our waiter was kind, gentle and very experienced. He spoke good English and exemplified customer service. We also spoke briefly with the proprietor Dimitrius. You're doing...
