Traverso — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Update: We have been a second time and this time was even better than the first time. Pizza's and desert tasted also great. So, a well deserved 5 stars.

Nice restaurant with very good (italian) food. Waiter was a great guy who nows how to give good service. The waitress smiles and try's to be freindly but you can see on here face that she not happy doing her job. We had ordered starters and main corse. One minute after finisching te starters, our main dish came on the table. The time between them was whay to short, but they tasted all very good. Maybe our foult because the waiter said if we had told him in advance there would be more time between the courses. We did not have a dessert because we where to full, but seeing it on other tables it looks nice and tasted good. With the bill we got a mastika on the house. We are definitely coming back here...

Heaven on a plate. When you come to Rhodes you HAVE to come here!! Start to finish it was out of this world For starters we had a classic salad and mushrooms filled with beef with a crispy onion on top followed with a buffalo mozzarella and tomato dish it had wonderful flavours For our mains we had a salmon pasta, shrimp pasta, lasagna and a delicious chicken with mash potato For dessert we had the best tiramisu Everything tasted fresh. Everyone on my table was overwhelmed by the food and the giant portions. This restaurant should have Michelin stars the food is that good. If you love Italian food, you won't regret going to traverso! As soon as you arrive, the very friendly manager & staff greet you into the beautiful decor of the new restaurant. The food exceeded my expectations, the taste was the best I ever had. It was so good that I expected the manager & chefs to be Italian, but they are Greek! I can throughly recommend the bruscetta, carbonara pasta & pizzas with any toppings. Me & my wife have been twice on our all inclusive holiday & I wouldn't hesitate to go again.
