Veto Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

We came to this place at the end of the day with my spouse just to have a drink. We ordered a gin tonic and a cocktail. After our drinks arrived, we asked the gentleman who took our order if he could bring us some nuts to go along with them. His reaction was so unpleasant that we immediately regretted even asking. First, he questioned why we wanted them. Then he said that nuts don’t pair well with the drinks we ordered, so he wouldn’t bring them. His attitude was very rude and harsh, and as customers we felt extremely uncomfortable. Afterwards, he started chatting in Greek with the table behind us. Absolutely awful experience – avoid at all costs! If I could give zero stars, I would. We had one of the worst meals of our entire trip here. The pizza we were served was quite literally a frozen pizza straight from a supermarket box – dry, tasteless, and clearly microwaved. Nothing fresh, nothing authentic, just lazy and unacceptable.

We were shocked that a place can get away with serving such low-quality food and still call itself a restaurant. It felt like a tourist trap designed to make a quick buck without any pride in what they serve.
