Flat bread circo — Restaurant in Budapest

Thank God humans can’t photosynthesize, otherwise how would we eat such amazing food? 😍🤤 The menu is incredible, respect to whoever created it, the flavours are complex, harmonious and deeply satisfying, without being too forward or “too much”.

We had the pizza Carnoso (imagine the taste of the most beautiful spinach and ricotta white-base pizza but with kale and taleggio cheese instead, it’s on a next level) and Alla Vodka (the creamy vodka tomato sauce is perfect for when you want something softer and sweeter than regular tomato-base, it’s the best of both worlds).

Then an actual bowl of tiramisu, it was so thick and fluffy and a big enough portion to share!

Also had some great, fresh, easy-to-drink natural wines, and some small plates, which were also delicious.

We were planning to have dinner and chat a bit but ended up often stopping mid-sentence in amazement when biting into something and realizing how good it is, lol.

Service was perfect, everyone was kind, professional, ready to answer any questions we had, and we got a constant supply of cold water to drink as it was a really hot Summer evening.

Will be back to try the rest of the items from the menu. 😌 I was already obsessed with Circo at their other spot by the Opera, but this might be even...

Excellent. This is the smaller version of the original place next to the Opera — but equally as good, and also acting as a wine bar. So, you can order some flat bread with different toppings. The dough of the pizza is one of a kind .. it takes skills to make such dough, and plenty of experience. It’s rare to find a pizza that has a soft dough, even when it cools down it stays like that. The salami and added mushrooms fit well together, rounded off by sweet chilly. And the marinara was equally great, paired with a nice glass of organic red wine. Setting is super nice, you can also enjoy a glass while sitting in one of the large windows outside on pillows. Doesn’t get much bette than that, service...

We had a fantastic experience, thanks in large part to our waiter, Oszkar. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and had a great sense of humor that made us feel instantly welcome. Oszkar gave us excellent recommendations — both the food and wine he suggested were absolutely spot on and matched our tastes perfectly. His knowledge and warm personality really elevated our evening....
