Partisan Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Budapest

Such a disappointing experience, as previous person mentioned, forgeiners are treated poorly and Hungarians are seated and served before non Hungarians even if they were there prior. If you are requested to sit downstairs, don't. It's smells like sewerage. Our meal (barely edible) took 70 mins, in the end we couldnt wait any longer and asked for the meal take away only to realise that half the order was missing and we were charged for salmon, avocado and hollandaise that wasn't in out takeaway. The coffee is luke warm, not hit. Stika is far, far superior to this abysmal place. After waiting 70 minutes for scrambled eggs on toast, I'm not surprised they seem full, it's because no one is fed! They were so rude when we queried how much longer our food would be. There is no customer service. Be prepared to be ignored, hungry and confused at the lack of efficiency. I was served a cold cappuccino and brought it straight back only to be told that's how we serve it, rather than being offered an apology for serving a cold coffee. Our Quiche took ages to be served even though it was already sitting in the glass counter. The local Hungarians were all served first even though they were behind us in the queue. The sign on the door says it all - a smiley face for Hungarians and an exclamation mark for foreigners !! Its a real shame as their food is good. Landed here for brunch which turned out be wholesome & delicious. Ordered A pumpkin spice latte & a salted caramel latte, our request to make them extra hot was gladly accepted.

Food order was a double cheddar egg drop which was hefty, cheesy & flavourful. Recommended !

Also took an avocado cream cheese bagel which was creamy & tasty. One suggestion that I can make is to add some pickled onions into it & the taste will skyrocket. Nonetheless, it was still delicious.

Seating is available outside on smaller tables and upstairs for a group of 4. Service was courteous & friendly.
