Easily one of my favourite things we did whilst visiting Budapest was coming to the evening show of the music fountain. The times are all on a board near the fountain and we noted it down and came back another day after spending the morning exploring the park. The fountains are always 'on' but they have regular performances throughout the day where the fountain jets more around the music plays. The shows are different and the music playlist is on the same board as the show times. We came for the evening show and it was fantastic! It's completely free, there are lots of chairs and things to sit around the fountain and it was pretty quiet at that time of night. It's about a 20 min show, we did get pretty cold so would recommend bringing a coat/jacket depending on time of...

This place is a quite a gem. It is lokated on the island of Margaret on the Danube river in Budapest. The whole island is some sort of a park and has a lot of things to do, but the fountain is definetly worth visiting. Every hour it has a program running wit a difwrent aongs and a fountain show. The are lights In the evening too. It is a great place to sit for a while drinking wine with some friends. The show is great and somtimes the people visiting make it even greater.
