KAA Mixology — Restaurant in Budapest

I have recently met here with two friends due to the very positive reviews. But little did I know how disappointing it would be.

The service was really bad. Upon our arrival we were taken to our table and we were offered tap water. It seemed nice until after the first cocktails, when I asked for more water for all of us. We were brought a big bottle of Römerquelle instead of tap water this time. I ask myself if this is how you make additional money?! Because we were not asked for our preference. For ordering another drink we always had to make one of the waiters aware of us, however there were at least five staff members at the bar and only a couple of tables were occupied. Perhaps you should check on your customers from time to time instead of looking at your phones. I know that the obligatory service fee is common, but in cases like these I would like to have the option to not tip at all. The first round of cocktails was flavourless, not to say boring. But we gave it another try by ordering three more drinks. Disappointingly they did not...

High end wannabe place with not so much high end atmosphere (sticky tables, no AC), and far the WORST SERVICE I've ever had.

All the waiters were in the bar and even there was just a few couples in the place, they didn't care about us or what we want we have to wave for minutes. Eventually when one of them came by himself, he took away one of our (16€) cocktail without asking permission despite the glass was 1/3 full, while asking if we want to have anything else? I said no and as I was having a conversation, when I realised what happened my last part of my drink was in the sink. I felt like I was mugged!

I told an other waiter what happened who offered me a complementary drink but as the night was ruined already we rather left.

If they have known and used the word "sorry" I probably wouldn't write this review but we left without a word, like the whole thing was...
