We arrived early, around 10pm. There was only one more couple seating down, so pretty empty. A waitress took our order twice, we ordered the same type of drink as my husband and I always drink the same thing. When we went to the bar and asked her friend (dark strait hair a bit longer than shoulder length), she knew what we were drinking and decided to charge us the more expensive rum (Captain Morgan) and we were drinking a regular rum (Havana). She had an attitude when we asked her why the bill was higher. Then I noticed the different rum and told her that we don’t drink that one, but Havana or Bacardi. Captain Morgan is a spice rum, so it also tastes different. She rolled her eyes and walked away. Then she came back with the bottle of Captain Morgan on her hand and I kept telling her that we didn’t want the spice rum but the regular rum. She kept ignoring us and shrugged her shoulders like she could not do anything about it. She did not even poured the rum so I was confused in why I could not pay for the rum we wanted. We just walked out and went somewhere else. She was trying to scam us but lost good customers. We end up tipping her friend more aside from what was included...
Read moreThe place is nice, it is located in a street full of bars and nice atmosphere with a lot of people. We sat down for dinner. First impression was that they probably don't have enough staff because we waited a long time for our food, we ordered goulash soup, which when it finally arrived was sour and believe me, I've tried a lot of goulash soups before, this one is really bad! Since I didn't eat my meal and I was still hungry, I decided to take a risk and get tagliatelle in pampkin sauce.... I waited for about 45 minutes until it arrived... overcooked tasteless dough with a watery taste and sweet undertone of pumpkin, a disaster, the worst thing I've ever tried!!! I want to address to management of the restaurant, which in order to work properly and offer the quality that each of the customers deserves, needs to strengthen the staff because it is a shame to wait so long for the most overcooked tasteless food that does not cost cheaper compared to other restaurants. Please hire more waiters and bartenders, and...
Read moreI recently dined at the downtown restaurant that serves Hungarian food, and it was an absolute blast! The moment I walked in, I felt warm and welcome. The nice music made the place cozy and perfect for the yummy food.
The menu was amazing! They had all sorts of authentic Hungarian dishes. I tried the goulash, and it was incredible. The flavors were rich and hearty, just like Hungarian food should be. The paprika chicken was another favorite - the chicken was so tender and the sauce was so creamy.
What really made this restaurant special was the staff. They were super friendly and helpful, always ready to recommend dishes and make sure we had a great time. They really loved the food, and that made the whole experience even better.
The prices were also really reasonable, so you get a great deal for the food and service. If you’re into Hungarian food or just want to try something new, this place is a must-visit. It was a fantastic meal, and I highly...
