Dear Hilton Hotel Budapest,
I find myself at a loss for words to express the overwhelming emotions that fill my heart as I sit here in the beautiful castle, surrounded by the enchanting wonders of life. You have always been here for me, offering a haven of tranquility and a breathtaking view that never fails to captivate my soul.
Upon stepping foot into your restaurant, I was greeted by a familiar face, one that I hadn't seen in years. László Izsold, with his warm smile and kind eyes, welcomed me as if I were a long-lost friend. The surprise and joy that washed over me in that moment were indescribable. It is moments like these that make Hilton truly exceptional.
I am grateful beyond words for the delicious food that graced my plate, the luxurious room that provided me with a view that could only be described as a work of art, and the boundless kindness that emanates from every corner of this iconic hotel. Your dedication to providing an unforgettable experience shines through in every detail.
To all those who plan to visit Budapest, I wholeheartedly recommend the Dear Hilton Hotel. It is not merely a place to rest your head, but a sanctuary that embraces you with open arms. It is a place where memories are made, where old friends are remembered, and where the beauty of life is celebrated.
Thank you, Dear Hilton Hotel Budapest, for being the epitome of hospitality and for creating moments that will forever be etched in my heart.

Read moreToday’s date: 9/26/2025. It’s our last day of our vacation and we decided to eat at Lang since we are staying at the Hilton Budapest. We were not very hungry, but wanted to eat something before it got late due to our very early 4:00am departure to the airport.
We did not order wine, nor starters or soup, because again we just wanted an entrée. I don’t know if that caused the quick spiral of service from our waitress (blonde hair late 40’s) did not get her name, but she had an air of arrogance, annoyance and attitude for the duration of the meal leaving me utterly disappointed. She was flippant and rude, which compelled me to use google translate app on my cell phone to write my displeasure with my dining experience in Hungarian to the restaurant Manager, who read it and uttered “so sorry”. When we got her attention that we were ready for the bill, she continued to service other tables leaving us sitting and waiting for over 10 minutes for a bill that never arrived! It forced us to get up and walk to the Manager at the cash register to pay (unacceptable). In do so, i passed the waitress, and smiled, and was met with a fake smile and quick return to a resting annoyed face (unacceptable). She needs serious retraining on what customer service is. Her service was unacceptable! I waited table for 6 years in my work history, and I never treated a patrons like that. Do better Lang....

Stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and had breakfast every day in this restaurant along with dinner 1 night. There was a good variety on display however there was almost zero change or rotation of food items in 4 days. Budapest is a beautiful destination with lots to offer and the management should consider having a daily change of items on a weekly basis to keep it fresh for Long staying guests.
The staff in this restaurant is generally unfriendly with hardly any smile on their faces especially the female waiting staff. The supervisors in black at least carry a smile. They seem to be more interested in talking to each other at a corner than engaging or attending to needs of the guests. A simple gesture of leading one to a seat and asking if we would like any coffee or tea or juice would be a great step forward. I am not exaggerating but a grumpy and unwelcoming attitude really spoils the morning and entire experience, service makes a large part of the dining experience as much as a food does for a restaurant. The management should really look into this aspect.
The restaurant has a modern, upscale decor and a great view to offer with a huge potential to be a dining destination on its own, once the...
