HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT ... This was our first experience with restaurants in Budapest and it was quite terrible, we waited for 40 minutes for our "Tourist menu" which is something they should have precooked. Goulash soup was actually really good, but after that the things went downhill fast. The staff messed up our order and brought us different main course, therefore we had to wait for another 30 minutes for the correct food. The main course "paprika chicken" was huge disappointment, portion was very small and chicken had basically no meat on it. Read moreAvoid at all costs if you want to pay with credit card!! The food is average, service not too friendly, prices could be ok even if they charged for a bottle of water the same price of a large beer (!!!) and they add t also 12% service. The scam is that the rate for the credit card is 33% higher than the official one!! It's pure robbery!! The total for a goulash, a plate with 2 sausages, 1 large beer, 1 bottle of water was 6787 and with the official rate would have been less than 21 euro, instead is 27,15 Euro!! I do understand a small extra fee for commission, but this is...
