Sock's Coffee — Restaurant in Budapest

The behavior of the owner of the place is disgusting. I wanted to enter the bathroom before making the order and was grabbed by him and pulled out of the place. It would be good for him to learn how to explain the rules of the place verbally, in English as well. Obviously, rhe owner of the cafe thinks that the absence of cameras inside gives him the right to act like this with the visitors. He didn't want to apologize for this behavior too. Later, when I came to this place second time and asked the bartenders for the contact of the administration, they refused to give it to me because they would have problems with the boss in this case. The behavior of the owner, absence of cameras inside and the opportunities to contact the administration gives many questions about the general quality of the services....

We popped into Sock's to warm up while waiting for the bus across town. Had zero expectations from the unassuming exterior, but received the best hot chocolate in all of Budapest! The two staff working that day were super friendly & kind (also spoke English) and even gave us two freshly baked cookies for free. We bought an oatmeal/M&M cookie to go, which was also delicious. The cafe was clean (as was the bathroom) and simply decorated. Absolutely recommend...

Really nice, authentic café in the heart of the town. Delciuos coffee, tasteful sandwiches, included paleo and vegan. There is pastries which you can eat in menus also. You can choose from other menus like small or big sandwich, and eggs too. There is table service here, although if there are a lots of guest, you should go inside and order. They will be thankful.
