Cockroach in Rice & Rasam: No dobut this is one of the oldest restaurants on MG Road. In terms of hygiene its the worst. Its a walking distance from our office hence 3 of us went for lunch today (20/11/2023), 2 of my colleagues ordered for Meals and I ordered for Rasam & Rice and after finishing about half - spotted a cockroach in the bowl. When we spoke to the Manger Mr. Ravi and showed him, he was apologetic & wanted us to talk softy so that other customers doesn't hear it. We told him not to serve the rasam to others that day which he did NOT oblige, that shows they care a damn for the customers'...

Go to place to Lunch. It is located accessible to many nearby companies. They offer both North and South Indian food dishes and both are seperate building, next to one another.

There is only seating facility which is great. Orders will be taken by the servers. Menu is usually fixed. But the items in the meals will vary daily.

Good quality vegetarian south indian breakfast. Part of the very old Ajantha Hotel. No frills. No AC. Limited choice beyond the popular fare. Idli, Vada, Plain dosa, Masala Dosa and Coffee are all good. Waiters are attentive. Reasonably priced. Good location, off M G Road. Restaurant does not encourage long meetings. Open up to 11 am for breakfast....
