Cafe Coffee Day - The Square, located in a prime area, stands as a flagship outlet of the renowned Cafe Coffee Day (CCD) chain. This cafe differentiates itself from the regular CCD outlets with its upscale ambiance, an extensive menu, and a premium experience it offers to coffee enthusiasts.

The seating arrangement is thoughtfully designed, catering to both casual visits and formal meetings. One of the highlights of The Square is its extensive coffee menu. It offers a wide range of brews, from classic espresso to more exotic and signature blends. Apart from coffee, The Square also serves a variety of food options, including sandwiches, pastries, and desserts, which complement the beverages well. While the prices are on the higher side compared to regular CCD outlets, the quality and portion sizes justify the cost.
Customer service at The Square is noteworthy. The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick in service, enhancing the overall experience.
However, the cafe can get quite crowded, especially during peak hours, which might detract from the relaxed atmosphere some patrons may seek.

Read more-staff said that the place is open only from 8am when I called. But it actually is open from 7am. The breakfast is served from a little later on. So I guess the he gave me misleading information for his own comfort. -he made me switch places because he wanted to clean the area i was sitting in. Don’t restaurants and cafes clean while closing up, isn’t that the practice worldwide? And why is one corner unclean and other part clean? -he asked me again to change the place as the plug point at one corner isn’t working. I’m already frustrated now without my morning coffee. -I gave him my to-go ceramic cup with the lid so I can leave with my coffee after a bit. I asked him to rinse with hot water. But he misunderstood as me wanting hot water. I clarified that I just wanted it washed and he still served my drink in a regular glass because his layering decoration won’t be visible in my opaque to-go cup as the transparent cup he served me in. -cafe coffee day radio is so annoying with the lady talking all the time. Just play ambient classical music or latest hits. Songs collections are quite awful tbh. -wifi connectivity is complicated. OTP is fine. But I have to get the daily pin from the barista and it got over in a minute after updating one of my adobe apps. -only good thing about my entire experience is that the guy helped me connect to wifi when I had trouble and made sure my wifi was working. That’s why 2 stars or I’d have gone for 1 -starbucks should open one nearby so I could go there. Quite an awful experience overall. I tried CCD after a long time despite my dislike thinking there would be some improvement. But you guys lost an opportunity here. I am a guy who works out of coffee places regularly ordering...
Read moreBrand of CCD has been diluted over and over again. What we see today is purely a cash churning machine, with no effort on customer experience. Baffling arrogance of the brand visible in every touchpoint of the store experience.
After visiting many different CCD outlets in Bangalore and Hyderabad, I was a little optimistic about The Square's experience. However, I met with a shock as the favourite CCD outlet of every Bengalurian - The Square - is also spoilt by CCD's management. We recently visited this store before the new year and the first thing I noticed is almost half the store is empty (which was not the usual case in the evenings).
Staff's focus is completely on selling more and more drinks/food or merch. The quality of beverages has fallen to abysmal levels. We ordered hot chocolate and a tropical iceberg. The hot chocolate is slightly hotter than warm, not exactly hot! And it tasted like it was diluted to 1/4th of the original proportions. On asking if it could be made any better or reduced to taste anything like actual chocolate, the staff responded coldly that it is a standard premix and there is nothing that he could do. Can't imagine the same in other stores like TWC, Starbucks, or even cheaper alternatives like Chai Point, et al.
The other drink - Tropical Iceberg - was more of a crushed ice vanilla drink, with just a hint of coffee, nothing more nothing less. I wouldn't want to compare every drink at this store with the other cafes nearby, but you get the gist. If you've already experienced the downfall of CCD in other nearby stores, trust me this is exactly the same. Please don't expect anything better from this...
