This review is specific to the Sunday Special Chola Bhatura. Went today after hearing about this place from a post on Twitter. Well worth the effort. Pretty much no seating, you just stand and eat. The Chole is tasty and bhaturas are light and fluffy. I had two, my friend had 3 and it didn’t feel heavy AT ALL. They serve with a smile and you can go back for more chole, masaledaar aaloo, onion etc. bhaturas come out of the Kadhai and are on your plate in a minute after that. This place has garnered popularity for its Sunday Special Chole Bhature served between 8am and 11:30 am( Till stocks last) for 100 Rupees a plate. I being a hard core foodie and a North Indian having tried chole bhature in Delhi and now in places like Natraj and Gopal Jee in Bangalore , felt the taste here to be average as the Chole had lot of liquidy Gravy and lacked flavour. Electrifying atmosphere, went on a Sunday, true puri sabji, jalebi dukaan wali feeling. Chole bhature was the star item for Sunday...in front of me within a span of 30 mins... atleast 70-75 plates were sold.
