I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mikusu, the Japanese restaurant located in the Conrad Bangalore, and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I was struck by its stylish decor and the warm welcome from the staff. The ambiance was perfect for a fine dining experience. The menu at Mikusu is truly a masterpiece. The chefs have expertly crafted a wide range of Japanese dishes, from sushi to tempura to yakitori, and each dish was a work of art in itself. I was particularly impressed by the quality and freshness of the ingredients used in each dish. The sushi at Mikusu was some of the best I have ever had. Each piece was perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of rice and fish, and the presentation was simply stunning. The sashimi was equally impressive, with each slice of fish melting in my mouth. The tempura was another highlight of the meal. The batter was light and crispy, and the shrimp and vegetables were cooked to perfection. The yakitori was also delicious, with each skewer expertly grilled and flavored with a variety of sauces. One thing that truly stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the staff. The waiters were attentive and knowledgeable, and they provided excellent recommendations for dishes and sake pairings. The manager even came over to check on our table and make sure we were enjoying our meal. Overall, Mikusu is an exceptional restaurant that delivers a truly memorable dining experience. The food is expertly crafted, the ambiance is sophisticated and elegant, and the service is outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a truly top-notch dining experience in Bangalore. It's no wonder that Mikusu has earned a reputation as one of the best Japanese restaurants in the city. Five stars!

I went for a dinner at Mikusu, which is a fine dining restaurant serving some cracking and authentic Japanese cuisine.  Its one of the 3 restaurants run by Conrad, the other 2 being Tiamo(Italian) and Indian Durbar. Needless to say, the ambiance was top notch and the service was exceptional. Below are the dishes which I tried here and what you must have on your visit. Maguro Tartare : Yuzu cream, flying fish roe , avocado guacamole served with fresh wasabi. It was totally scrumptious and an absolute treat. Chicken Soup in Coconut Milk : A light and creamy soup with lots of chicken and other stuff mixed in. A good option. Chicken Firecrackers: They were shaped like dimsums and had a mild taste. Another great appetizer. Dimsums : I had the prawn and bbq chicken dimsums. And I am a bit partial towards the bbq chicken one. It was fabulous. Avocado and Tuna Sushi : Both were pretty awesome, specially the Avocado one. I enjoyed them thoroughly. Okra and Prawns on Grill : You don't really see okra on a grill anywhere but here it was. Topped with teriyaki sauce, they were a nice addition. Teriyaki Grilled Chicken with Brown Rice : I really liked this, even though it was really mild on flavours.  The chicken had skin on and it went surprisingly well with the rice. Do try it out. Udon Noodles with Exotic Vegetables Black Pepper Sauce : The noodles were silken smooth and one of the best I have ever had. Went superbly with the sauce. A showstopper combination. Green Tea Crème Brûlée: This is a must have. Served in a cup with a cracker on top, I couldnt stop eating this. Very smooth texture and the best way to finish the meal. Overall, I think its one of the best places serving Japanese cuisine and one you must visit to just indulge yourself. Sayonara.

An absolute gem of a place to fulfil your pan-asian cravings! Mikusu dishes out the best of Japanese, Thai and Chinese cuisines. Their trademark being Japanese. The decor and ambience has an air of authenticity to it. You definitely feel the whole luxury element when you sit down to dine at this outlet. For those who are looking for quick share of sashimi, tempura, and sushi, you can seat yourself at the live counters to get a feel of the chefs at work. We started off with the ramen soup, which certainly hit the spot for me and my fellow diners. Broth cooked to perfection, succulent pieces of chicken, generous serving of noodles and veggies. We opted for the tori gyoza and ebi tempura for starters, and my oh my, absolute delight!! We were hosted by Alem and Viltychon who did a fantastic job and ensured that we opted for the best of dishes. For mains, Viltychon recommended the Mikusu Platter of Sushi and Sashimi, and I must say... I was left in a food coma, with one helluva foodgasm!! I've had the opportunity to dine and some of the best sushi diners around the world, but none of them had such an effect on me. Full compliments to the chef who executed such an amazing platter. Mikusu is also home to some delectable choices of Japanese whiskeys and their in house mixologist Sujoy is well known for his amazing concoctions! Finally at the end of our meal, Niza gracefully offered us a serving of Jasmine Tea to cleanse the pallete, and yes, it surely was a great way to end such an amazing meal. Hats off to team Mikusu for the 5 star dining experience! Keep up the great work!
