Hello there... Recently visited Chin Wah with a friend of mine to dine out. I will share the review based on individual food I have tasted and then the over all experience.

Pork Yam Wonton The wonton was nice though the wonton sheet was bit thick. The filling had less seasoning in them making them bit bland. The wontons were tossed in lard and garlic but lacked the morning glory leaves which is generally tossed along with the wontons. They did not provide any type of sauce with the wontons so we had to use the sweet chili ketchup from the condiments tray. Over all it was good but could have been better.

Pork Fried Wonton The fried wontons were very crispy having a thick layering because of the thick sheets. The filling was the same seasoning-less one. It was served with their home made chili sauce. Now for the sauce which should have been bit spicy and tasty, was a mixture of gooey and slurry type. Clearly they has used cornstarch in it which should not have been used. Again we had to rely on the sweet chili sauce provided in the condiments tray. Over all it was better than the Yam Wontons as it was fried.

Pepper Fish This dish was visually appealing and better than any other in this class. They has used Bhola Bhekti instead of Basa which is a good thing and the coating was also bit light which further enhanced the flavor of the fish. The masala in which the dish was tossed had that mild punch of fennel in it making it much more refreshing. Downside of the dish was the amount of food color that was used in the batter. It could have been bit less owing to the food safety part. Overall this dish was nice.

Prawn Pork Hakka Chow Mein This dish was over all nice with appropriate amount of topping in it. It has ample amount of pork, prawn, egg and vegetables. It was not that dry and not that oily also. But again it lacked seasoning. Could have been seasoned well. If accompanied with any other side dish, then it will taste good.

Sichuan Pork This item tasted exactly like an Indo-Chinese food. Despite mentioning the Chef about the taste which was expected to be more of a Chinese type. The sliced pork was lightly fried in red batter and tossed in sweet chili garlic sauce. Again red batter full of red color. They could have used Kashmiri chili powder instead of red color, as Sichuan paper corn is bit spicy. This item resembled like sweet chili pork tossed with onion flakes and roughly chopped coriander leaves. Yes roughly chopped coriander leaves. As per my knowledge, Oriental cuisine was supposed to have super fine mise-in-place. Well thats our view. Over all okay okay type.

Sliced Chili Pork One of my favorite items. They have crafted it well. The quality of pork was good and the amalgamation of the sauce along with the spring onion and julienne of capsicum made it overall appealing. Taste wise it was far better than the other foods. Yes it had good amount of oil floating in it which is obvious owing to the fact that its cooked in its own lard. It tasted good.

Summing up the total experience, it was not bad. Pocket friendly place with family type restaurant seating arrangements. They should work on their washroom which was bit dirty and very small and crammed. All in all food could have been better if they check the seasoning and...

The Chin Wah Restaurant located on Temple Street is a place where I first got acquainted with the entire Chinese cuisine, in my childhood. So I'm very much connected with this restaurant from the bottom of my heart.

As the name suggests, this restaurant only offers and deals with the Chinese Cuisine. Their each and every Chinese dish is of great taste. But, yes, lot of changes happened for years still I would say that their quality of food is top notch. I CAN GUARANTEE YOU.

Whenver I visit the restaurant with my family, we always opt for the Chin Wah Special Soup at first. It is really of good taste. Then most of the time we order Mixed Chin Wah Special Chowmein (Gravy) and if someone is done with chow then he/she orders the Chin Wah Special Mixed Fried Rice. And for side dish we oder Chili Chicken (Dry and Gravy both), Mongolian Chicken (for its sweetness) and lastly Hot Pepper Chicken (mostly sweet in taste). I don't have the picture of the dishes, I'm sorry but please pay a visit there and it will definitely worth it.

I am requesting all the Chinese cuisine lovers, whoever reading my review, please share it with your circles so much that the restaurant shall once again regain its lost...

I visited Chandni Chowk area to repair my laptop. So basically, my husband searched this place through Google and we decided to hit the spot using Google Maps. Here's what we ordered:

Chicken Thai Soup-4/5 We checked the menu and randomly decided to order the Thai Soup. They served a decent portion for 1/2. The soup had perfect thickness, veggies, chicken and egg. It was quite fulfilling for our hungry tummies. Mixed Hakka Noodles- 3.5/5 The mixed hakka noddles tasted good with all the veggies and meaty concoction. But not the OG taste you get in authentic chinese restaurants. Sliced Chilli Pork- 2.5/5 Something that the waiter recommended us because it's in their most ordered item. Regreted ordering it because you can see the pictures it'sso dark tossed in too much soya sauce. The pork has more of fat portion than lean meat which I didn't find decent at all. Also, the meat was chewy. Totally a mess served on our table! Definitely, no intention to visit this...
