TFP - The Foodplex — Restaurant in Kolkata

We ordered their chinese(fish) combo and bengali (chicken) combo. Both were delicious. Will recommend you to try these items as it's not only tasty but pocket friendly too. For dessert, we tried their chocolate mousse and some pastries(sorry don't remember their names). They were absolutely yummy, especially their mousse cake! You should definitely try their mousse cake if not anything else. Will charge you Rs. 50 for it. Caveat - The concept of a food court is followed here. Therefore, one must not expect direct servicing from the employees. It's kind of a self servicing place. I think a sign mentioning self servicing should be attached to a wall to avoid confusion. Otherwise it's a great place to hang out and enjoy some amazing food. Ambience is also nice and warm, has a big TV to keep you entertained and has charging points as well to recharge your phones or laptop. It's a budget friendly food court serving multi cuisines for you to enjoy. They have another unit called Peaberrys which is at the upper floor, serving continental dishes. That's a proper café where employees serve you directly unlike in TFP. We even tried that place. Had their pizza Ortolana (thin crust), cafe mocha, nutella latte, bhetki fish with lemon butter sauce. Location: Near the V mart, Esplanade.

Ambience: 4 seater table with very large seating area. There is a big led screen in front. There is provision of wash basin and washroom.

Service: Very much offended with there service. Most of the time we have to hear that this item isn't available and that item isn't available in the menu. We only visit this place just because it's less crowded compere to the other eatery in this area.

Ordered: As I told before, We thought we would order sandwiches but they can't provide this item that time. So we ordered a chinese combo. Veg chinese combo: Noodles was good, The chili paneer had an oily smell coming from the paneer. Dumpling was ok ok. The arrangement of the place is terrible, it is designed as a food court with 100+ capacity, but there is a sum total of 1 toilet. The toilet is next to kichen so you don't know if staff is in queue to use or not. I felt disappointed at that arrangement and went upstairs to tell the cafe staff to pass my complaint to management. I made it clear that complaint is not on them, because it is not their fault. Regardless one of the staff at the cafe Peaberry's, Mousumi Das, dismissed my opinion and said one toilet is enough and was very rude to me whereas I wasn't rude at all, nor complained. I went back again to get her name for this review and she proudly stated, no politeness, nothing, while I had made it clear that complaint was not against her anyway.
