Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Mumbai

I recently visited Cafe Coffee Day and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance of the cafe is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. The staff members were friendly and attentive, ensuring that I had a pleasant visit.

Came here as I was around Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Colaba, and also there’s a dearth of decent coffee in India. The general ambience is fairly standard for CCD og comfortable sofa seats around coffee tables, except for the extra breakfast tables around the windows. The interior is also much more compact than a standard branch of CCD, but it is in a very touristy part of Mumbai.

The selection of food on display is also smaller than average for CCD, but I did go for the rich cocoa chocolate pastry. The staff warmed it up for me, which I didn’t ask for and not to my liking. I also got a king sized latte, which was good, just the usual CCD standard.

When I paid for the order, the staff didn’t have enough change and I said they could give it to me later. Something which never happened and I had to go and ask for it myself, which was just embarrassing, so I wasn’t impressed with...

With clear instructions i ordered an ‘Irish coffee’ and it’s the same way it’s mentioned in the menu as well and they gave me a normal coffee with Irish flavour. The staff doesn’t understand only what the person is asking for and ideally it’s their fault and they should have replaced the order later on but they simply ignored. Mood spoiler.

Editing my review after making another 2-3 visits to this place. Though my first experience was bad but rest all were very good. The place has relaxing vibes, drinks were good this time, I made sure I am making them understand which drink I want. The seating are also comfortable so as of now this has become my go to place. I tried McD, Tea post and other nearby ones too as I have to spend 2-3 hrs daily in that area but CCD...
