Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Mumbai

Me and my daughter visited this particular ccd and were seated. As my daughter was busy on a call n going through the menu, I thought of ordering my coffee first. The girl at the counter who has served me prior when I was alone, says that it’s a 200 rs cover charge cafe so you have to order for her as well. I told her that she’ll place her order after the call but the staff wouldn’t budge. Have been to this cafe a hell lot of times when the boys are serving but never faced this. I guess ccd needs to look into this very seriously as there are men sitting with their laptops plugged in the whole day working from ccd, using your power on a 200 rs cover charge. Seriously you are loosing money. I would have made a bill of 600+ with 2 cafe frappe's and left in max 1 hour. But alas you just need 200 for the whole day. Have been a patron of ccd for more than 15 years. But never visiting a ccd ever again. You’ll are digging your own...

Someone on the counter named Anjali, misbehaved with my husband and me when we were there at Privileged Inn’s CCD outlet. According to Ms. Anjali we had to order 199/- of food for each of us. Which absolutely makes bo sense to us. What if we are group of 5 or 6 and only few of them wants to eat or drink here. Then we can’t enter their cafe or what? We visited the same place the previous day as well but then there was no mention of such rules. And the tone of Ms Anjali was commendable, looked like she was paying us and she hd all authority to use that condescending body language and tone. You guys should know that your brand runs because of customers and your staff shouldn’t not misbehave. Plus the place was filled with mosquitoes and they had no answer for the unhygiene maintained. This is a great cafe serving good cappuccino with a great food menu. Excellent service and a great place nearby Evereshine Nagar. Good meeting spot. Although not One of the best cafe in the city. Awesome taste of cold coffee and yummy too. The cafe interior and atmosphere is great. I would like to suggest everybody to visit whether come with family or friends. It is not an Amazing Place. A book and a cup of coffee are two of the most comforting things in our life, I have a special love for books and coffee, the two pairing perfectly together make the day a perfect one.
