We visited this restaurant for Dinner on a week day recently & it was not crowded at all. I liked the decor. It is nice & impressive. You a get a pleasant vibe. Apart from the ambience nothing about this restaurant was nice. They serve various seafood thalis. We ordered a Prawns thali & Surmai thali. The diameter of the thali is about 10-11 inches. The fried prawns & Surmai are coated with rava & rice flour & were very bland with very less salt though fried to perfect crispiness. The taste was just about OK . The prawns gravy lacked the taste. How could the prawns curry in thali be so bland & was sweetish in taste. The Surmai gravy was slightly better in taste compared to the prawns gravy. Basically the seafood is nowhere near the usual Malvani/Kokani taste. Even the sol kadhi lacked the tanginess & punch. The thali was served with only 3 pieces of Vadey. The service staff is absolutely unprofessional. The waiter wanted to know how was the taste of food when we were in the middle of our dinner. He could surely have waited until we finished eating & then asked us the same thing. The person at the bar was playing something on his phone on a loud volume without being bothered about clients eating at the table. We had gone with high expectations but however were totally disappointed. We do not intend to visit this...
Read morePathetic Restaurant I ever visited in my life..😡 It was father's day and therefore our entire family with my father visited there due to their heavy advertisement.
No waiter has served us water for 10 mins, we have to upfrontly ask for water. Also just a bottle no didn't even bother to keep glass and serve it. We have to drink from bottle.
No waiter will attain your table to take orders or even to serve you water. After waiting for 30 mins I have to personally go to manager and give the orders and than it will take atleast another 30 mins to serve that order.
Highly Overpriced and heavy on pockets, fish thali tastes normal no such extra ordinary taste, still it costs rs 500. Chicken thali was pathetic, even road side chicken thali which costs rs100 has far far better taste than this, it was tasteless. Also to my surprise chicken thali also costs here rs 500 including GST, totally waste of money and time.
They don't value their customers. There is a saying "Bade naam pheeke pakwan" that's how exactly this place. 😓
Our entire plan got spoiled and everyone's mood was off as we didn't enjoyed the food at all and obviously the service we got was top class..

Read moreWe had a table reservation here. We arrived we were greeted properly given a table. We ordered drinks and two starters. The prawns starter came after 20 min. After finishing it we reminded the server of the other starter but I think he had forgotten to place that order. By the time this starter came we had already lost a little appetite. Main course we ordered mutton thali. The thali was extremely spicy as in the mutton gravy, liver masala and mutton pieces as well. Upon informing the manager and the owner they mentioned that you dint inform the server whether you wanted less spicy food. We never wanted less spicy food it was just that this thali was extremely spicy compared to other brands like Mi hai koli. And we have never ever been asked or even that we preferred the food to be less spicy in these restaurants. A simple sorry would have. Sufficed rather than blaming the customer. If you offer preference in thali it is the servers job to ask the customer whether they want the food to be less spicy. They are undermanned or are not trained properly. No one leaves all pieces of mutton behind in a mutton thali which costs 790 bucks. Malvani katta in kandivali east has better...
