Thackers Vegetarian Restaurant — Restaurant in Mumbai

I went to this place on Bhau beej day with a lot of eagerness and expectations, from my last experience at Kalbadevi, 7 years back.. But I wasn't satisfied... Ambience is good, it wasn't that crowded, so service was good too . But nothing great about the food.. definitely not worth Rs.1000 (plus GST). I couldn't eat more than 2 rotis and don't know what they add to the food ... as after just one serving, I was too full to have anything (for the whole day)... had to waste the kheer also.. Sabzis are average.. nothing great about it.. You get better thalis at half the price and better taste at many other...

It was a very good experience. The staff is very cooperative and humble. Taste is also very good. It's a treat for pure vegetarians. Thackers is known for its veg thali which comes for Rs. 700/-, is not bad at all. However, it is not outstanding but if you are visiting this restaurant, then do try thali. The thali loosely comprises of Roti, chapati and puri with ghee on it, three veggies, dal and dahi curry, shrikhand, and buttermilk. Along with it, is cutlet, undhiyo and tasty dahi wada. And all this is unlimited. Important note- One cannot share their thali. So think twice...
