Trishna, located in the bustling Kala Ghoda area, is a seafood lover's paradise known for its rich, coastal flavors and stellar seafood offerings.

Starting with the Prawn Koliwada, the medium-sized prawns were coated in a perfect blend of spices and deep-fried to crispy perfection. The crunchiness of the batter paired with the juicy prawns inside made it a great start. Trishna excels in offering a wide variety of seafood dishes, with each preparation standing out in its own way.

Next came the crab, and the Chettinad masala version was nothing short of spectacular. The bold, spicy, and peppery notes of the Chettinad masala beautifully complemented the sweetness of the crab. While the crab itself was small, the flavor-packed masala more than made up for it. It was a messy but immensely satisfying experience, as it should be with crab. The green pepper sauce version was a refreshing contrast to the Chettinad. It had a more delicate, aromatic flavor profile, with hints of coriander, green chilies, and herbs. The sauce was smooth and complemented the crab meat well, but I found the Chettinad option a little more robust for my taste.

The Surmai (Kingfish) tawa fry, coated in a light layer of rawa (semolina), was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The delicate balance of spice allowed the freshness of the fish to shine through. It’s a simple yet highly flavorful preparation that seafood enthusiasts would appreciate.

A non-seafood item, the Chicken Tikka held its own against the seafood dishes. The chicken was marinated well, with a smoky char from the tandoor. The spices penetrated the meat, leaving it tender and succulent, though I must say that the seafood overshadowed it slightly in terms of flavor complexity.

Mutton Malwani Sukka was a standout. The dish boasted tender chunks of mutton cooked in a traditional Malwani-style dry masala, rich with coconut, dry spices, and a hint of tamarind.

The neer dosa was soft, light, and the perfect accompaniment to soak up the rich gravies and curries. It paired exceptionally well with the mutton sukka, and also provided a nice balance to the stronger, spicier dishes like the crab in Chettinad masala.

To finish off, the sol kadi was refreshing and cooling, a perfect way to cleanse the palate after the...

Review for Trishna Seafood Restaurant located in Kala Godha:

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Trishna Seafood Restaurant located in Kala Godha, and I must say it was a delightful experience. This restaurant is known for its delectable seafood dishes, and it certainly lived up to its reputation.

First and foremost, the Chicken Chowmen was absolutely delicious. The noodles were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the chicken was tender and flavorful. The dish was a perfect blend of spices and had just the right amount of heat. It left me wanting more, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who visits this restaurant.

Additionally, the Chicken Tikkas were another highlight of the meal. The chicken was marinated to perfection, resulting in juicy and succulent pieces. The spices used in the marinade gave the chicken a delightful smoky flavor that was simply irresistible. It was a great option for those who prefer non-seafood dishes but still want to enjoy the restaurant's offerings.

One aspect that impressed me about Trishna Seafood Restaurant was the ample staff available to take orders and serve the customers. Despite being a busy evening, the waitstaff was attentive and efficient. They were quick to address any requests and ensured that our dining experience was enjoyable. The prompt and friendly service added to the overall positive experience at the restaurant.

Lastly, it's worth mentioning that Trishna Seafood Restaurant is known for its seafood dishes. While I didn't personally try any of the seafood options on this visit, I have heard great things about their prawns, fish curries, and crab preparations from friends and family who have dined there. If you're a seafood lover, this restaurant should definitely be on your list.

In conclusion, I had a fantastic dining experience at Trishna Seafood Restaurant. The Chicken Chowmen and Chicken Tikkas were both exceptional, and the service provided by the attentive staff was commendable. Whether you're a seafood enthusiast or looking for flavorful non-seafood options, this restaurant has something to offer. I highly recommend visiting Trishna Seafood Restaurant in Kala Godha for a...

I kept hearing about this restaurant since ages, but this time fortunately fetched a chance to visit because of my friend Ranjeet Jog... and ohh boy ..!! We had a ball there for the entire time we've spent...started with some buds and the very sumptuous bombay dawk fry ...very aptly crisp from out and mouth-melting from inside...I am the person who is actually mad for bombil always seeks perfection in cooking and it was superbly flavourful cooked , then they've suggested to taste their signature soup .. the 'mix seafood' ... I must say it was awesome from start till the end of taste buds ..best was the subtleness of fresh seafood fixture hits you the more than any "spicy seafood" like we usually eat in any other seafood restaurant ... believe me this was non-spicy. Yet it is the finest and tongue lingering flavourful, i don't know how they've managed to do that ...I think I really need to meet the chefs next time and learn ... And then comes the magnificent "The Butter Garlic Crab" .... yea I think the word heavenly will only be an antecedent 😊 .... the creamy flavoured texture smack your every taste bud in a way... that makes you to heal and forget all the apprehensions of the day. ..I really meant it !!... we added the butter garlic naan .. however I suggest one must have it without summing anything more .... The palatial, tenderly freshness of crab, butter and garlic combined to the crest of the perfection .. i only can say the best across all the best seafood restaurants i tried ...and then unfortunately we had to end it as there was a time restrictions coz of covid19 ... but nonetheless !! I have decided to come here again as early as possible so there will be no time constraints and we can taste more and more of their cuisines .. The rating here stops you till 5 stars ..If at all I can would have given 10...
