I used to go to this cafe before and it was fine. This time they brought me horrible nasi goreng. There were insects on the chip, the egg was not liquid, and the chicken on the skewer was burnt and black. I tried to eat it, but it tasted terrible.

Also the tea had more ice in it than tea, couldn't taste anything but the flavor of water with lemon.

When I showed the insects on the chips and the burnt chicken, the waitresses laughed behind my back, had a long conversation with each other and told me it should be burnt, it's a grill, but they didn't say anything about the insects. I said I wouldn't eat it and didn't want to pay for it. But I was told that I had to pay 50% since I had already started eating. And only after threatening that I would write a bad review they agreed to remove the dish from the bill, but the drink was counted with all the taxes and tips.

I paid for the drink and left hungry and upset. The service is terrible, they profit from tourists. I do not...

We had breakfast two days ago with scrambled eggs and spinach. The waitresses didn’t tell us that they were out of spinach, they didn’t inform us in advance. In the end, the dish had no spinach because they had run out, but we still had to pay the full price, even though it was missing. On top of that, the eggs weren’t scrambled as shown in the photos, they were just fried eggs 🥚.

The waitress was bitter and unfriendly. When we asked to check the bill and confirm what we had ordered, just to make sure, she sighed in annoyance 😒.

The prices are quite high for Balinese dishes, and the food isn’t particularly good. There’s nothing better here than what you’d find in a simple warung.

Sun de Bisma is an absolute gem in the heart of Ubud. I ordered the Nasi Raja and was blown away by the incredible quality, depth of flavor, and generous variety on the plate. Every element — from the spiced meats to the vegetables and sambals — was beautifully prepared and bursting with authentic Balinese taste.

The meal included a refreshing iced tea and finished with coconut pancakes, which were light, aromatic, and the perfect sweet touch to round out the experience.

The ambiance was peaceful and beautifully styled, making it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a meal. What made the experience even more memorable was the kind and welcoming staff, who added to the warm, relaxed vibe of the place.
