Failed from thr beginning!!! Order croissants when just entered the restaurant and never being served until I asked more than twice. the iced americano it was like water added a spoon of coffee .. thought is was iced tea, tried 4 different croissant and OMG frozen inside! Angel hair aglio olio overcooked and ruined and taste weird, pizza is so salty not even kid want to eat it, fetticini carbonara it was not creamy but oily and yet the beef bacon topping my kid said it was like dummy as it was hard like plastic, mac and cheese so dry… far away from the word good, roasted chicken was so tasteless and dry, the one and only that was properly served is iced tea. We ask to take away the pizza because no body want to eat it, BUT you know what? The packaging is like middle low restaurant .. the clear plastic box and also the croissant packaging was low grade brown paper 😅😅😅😅 and event worst when asking for paper bag the supervisor in charge mentioned it is charged at 3K for customer who spent more than million 🤣🤣🤣🤣 . So we leave it on the table, dont bother to bring it When I commented the mac and cheese so dry the waiter was just smile, either she doesnt know the product or just tried being nice but no solution NOT EVEN apologies. No one care to clear up the dish though already ask twice . SPEECHLESS !!! Need training your employee to do proper servce and improve food quality in OVERALL to support your beautiful place. NO WIFI! Do shop the cafe surrounding as some of them do...
Read moreI am somewhere in between sweet and savory lover, so my tongue desires something in between: nothing too much of a sweet tooth or salty. So here are my reviews of the things I have ordered here (I have been here twice!):
Carbonara: The cream is a little too watery for my liking. I wish it was a bit thicker. The seasoning should be less salty, I gave this one a 7 out of 10. Pistachio Berry Croissant: Magnificently made. I am not a fan of Pistachio nor fruit-based dessert, but this one has my mind changed. The pastry is so soft, pleasing on my mouth. The mix between berry and pistachio are just.. chef's kiss! Cromboloni: My personal favorite: Chocolate and pistachio. I think they are the first when it comes to Pistachio Butteria Latte: For someone who does not really fancy coffee, this one is easy on me. Be it on my tongue and tummy. Would recommend this to someone who wants non-strong coffee! Avocado Presso: This one is your usual avocado coffee with ice cream. It's creamy, I can taste a hint of chocolate sweetness, and we got ice cream on top! If you fancy sweet coffee, this one is for you!
The only thing I have a problem with is the parking spot. Quite hard to find one when it's on rush hour. Butteria serves you a valet, but it's not guarantee, though.
Would I recommend? I would! So much! The waiter and waitresses are lovely and full of smile, very...
Read moreThis place is their 2nd branch, so still quite new.
We were welcomed with a selection of pastries, mostly croissants. I was immediately intrigued with their pandan malacca croissant, then I also got their cinnamon sea salt caramel ones.
Pandan malacca was just okay, their croissant is super flaky, not as buttery tho. I love their cinnamon sea salt caramel more, tho I couldnt really taste the sea salt, its more caramel-y.
For the food, I ordered their egg benedict and caesar salad with grilled chicken. I am honestly not impressed with the food, considering the place has quite the reputation. My egg was overcooked so its no longer runny, which is supposed to be the trademark for egg benedict. The hollandaise didnt add too much flavor, so the overall dish is bland.
For the caesar salad, they served it with something thats similar to a scotch egg. I mean, nothing spectacular. They used thigh for their grilled chicken so its juicy.
There is a 90 minute limit time to sit after all your food is served. Their toilet needs to be check regularly since their bidet wasnt functioning properly and I had to adjust the...
