Coffee 31 Menteng — Restaurant in Jakarta

Came here 1PM Sunday for light work, place is not so crowded. Located near Plataran Menteng, quite accessible by bus, car & bike parking space is very small.

They have 7 indoor non-smoking seats and around 5 smoking indoor seats, area is not so big. Some antiquities decoration around, but some part of the building is showing aging.

They offer typical coffee, fried rice, and donuts & brownies as assortment. I had their signature ice coffee 31 and cheese + meses donuts. The coffee is okay for 25k IDR, not too sweet and the coffee is quite strong The donuts are great, for 8k IDR each they taste similar to old school homemade donuts that are huge and solid inside.

What hassles me are the place is hot since the facade is a whole glass piece. C there’s no wifi, and credit card payment has minimum of 100k IDR order. Would rather find another place to work, but to hang around with...

A very small coffee shop located in the Menteng area with a homey decor. Not sure if its because of Covid-19 protocol but it seems the cafe only seats max 10-12 people.

Ordered their ice latte to go, taste wise it was very average at best. Nothing to rave about, all i can taste is bitter with a hint of milk. They also serve light meals such as indomie, mie ayam and risoles. If you are looking for a proper meal, please do not expect much.

Another thing to note is that the parking space fits only 1 car, you can park on the walkway but it is probably againts the law. If you are driving here you might need to find parking somewhere else.

Overall, I am not impressed. I would fulfill my caffeine needs...

Located 3-minute-walking-distance from Goethe Haus, Menteng, this is a nice place to go when you have some hour(s) to wait (maybe an exam or the Europe on Screen) while hanging out with a friend. The coffee shop is small, tend to be hard to park car if you came here driving because Coffee 31 is also next to other people's houses. The option for the coffee is fine, they serve some varieties. The prices also very reasonable due to its location in Menteng. The drawbacks is the snacks are not always available, I thought weekend is the moment all the menus are available (my visit is on Saturday),...
