Mediocre food with high-end price. Maybe their dim sum better.
Service was terrible. Only 2 tables, mine and another couple. At first we order 2 teapots and they pour to our tea glass and take away the teapot. I think that's how good the service should be and they will fill up your glass once it is empty, a very good standard of service.
But that's not what is happening. After they serve your food, all the waiter just standing at the entrance chit chat and leave us alone. We need to call them to fill up our tea. After a couple of times calling them to fill up our tea glasses, I asked them to put the teapot on my table. That way, it's easier for me to pour the tea by myself rather than keep calling them just to pour our tea.
After a while, that's a couple comes in. A foreigner guy and Asian lady. All the waiters come in and serve them. Looks like a regular guest. They stand not far from their table and keep watching them in case they need something. Help them to pour their wine, and I can see the waiter give them an excellent service. But for us, we need to call them to pour our tea. And we even need to ask them to change our eating plate because the plates have lots of sauces from the food. I think it's a pretty standard service in Chinese restaurant to change your eating plates when it's dirty from previous food.
I also see this kind of review too, where the guest just alone while the waiters just chit chat by themselves.
How can this fine dining restaurant with such a bad management. Not because those waiter can't do their job, I can see them do a very good job serve the other table, maybe they are more respect to those foreigner or reguler guest rather than locals or not...

We recently enjoyed a fantastic family meal at Li Feng, located in the elegant Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta. The restaurant delivered outstanding food, sophisticated ambiance, and mostly excellent service, making it one of the most memorable dining experiences we've had in the city.
We started with the crispy fish skinâlight, crunchy, and addictively good. The roasted duck was rich and flavourful with perfectly crisp skin, and the big prawns with salted egg yolk were cooked beautifullyâjuicy, savoury, and full of umami.
A true highlight of the evening was the bamboo lobsterâboth a visual and culinary delight. Served in a stunning presentation, the lobster was sweet, tender, and delicately seasoned, showcasing the kitchenâs high level of skill. We also tried several dim sum dishes, all of which were expertly prepared and delicious.
The signature cocktails were another standoutâartfully mixed, well-balanced, and a great complement to the meal. Overall, it was a perfect family feast, blending refined flavours with a warm and elegant atmosphere.
While the service was generally polished and professional, there was one small flaw worth mentioning. When we inquired about the average weight of a pearl lobster, our waiter didnât seem to understand the question and instead kept referring to the market price. He said he would check with the chef, but unfortunately never returned to our table with an answer. In the end, we opted for the bamboo lobster, which turned out to be an excellent choiceâbut clearer communication would have made the experience even smoother.
That said, the overall experience still deserves five stars. Li Feng is a top-tier restaurant for Cantonese cuisine in Jakarta, and weâll absolutely return on...

The atmosphere was relaxed and cordial, creating a perfect setting for a leisurely meal. The décor was charming, with comfortable seating and a cozy ambiance that made it easy to settle in and enjoy our time. We went for brunch, and it was clear that the restaurant's charm appealed to everyone in our group, which is no small feat when trying to satisfy different preferences.
The only note of caution is that it can get quite busy on weekends, which speaks to the popularity of the place. To avoid any inconvenience, making a reservation in advance is advisable, especially if you're planning to go with a larger group. Despite the busy environment, the staff managed everything efficiently, ensuring that we never felt rushed.
Overall, for a fair price, this restaurant provides not only fantastic food but also exceptional service, making it a standout choice for dining in the area. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful experienceâyou won't be...
