Good price point and portion size, on average the dishes are good for 2-4 pax. Sharable and non sharable options are also available, and everything is served fresh and quick.
Taste wise, I wouldn’t say it’s extremely authentic, but it leans towards the right track. My favorite is the Papaya Salad, you can ask for less sugar and vinegar, and the crispy chicken skin pieces are my favorite. They’re not greasy and retains its crispiness throughout my dine in. The fish cake is nice, but the texture is too rubbery instead of chewy. The chicken I ordered is something similar to Kung Pao and has Chinese cuisine influence to it. The overall dish is nice but I think it’s a little bit greasy.
Overall there are rooms for improvement, but I am not unhappy. I think this place has many niche options of Thai cuisine, something that’s worth trying in the future.
Update (16/03): Came here to try out the Thai Basil Chicken and Thai Beef Salad. Basil Chicken here falls towards savory instead of sweet, they’re not the typically minced type of Thai Basil Chicken. The authenticity is slightly questionable but the flavor is there and the portion is generous. Thai Beef Salad is very impressive, all the herbs marry so well with the acidity, making the entire bite flavorful and the beef is quite tender. The beef cuts are quite generous in my opinion, but as a whole salad dish I think they can add just a little bit more of green to balance all the greens...
Read moreFirst time dine in here during the pandemi (so relaxing) with family. As we were more than 2 persons then the waiter put us in secluded place (usually the room used for 10 persons) however during pandemi, they cut it into only 2 tables capacity. Hand sanitizer & body temperature available in the restaurant. We ordered tom yam seafood (tom yam taley, IDR99k), it is so yummy if u liked sour & spicy u need to try this. Chicken curry if not mistaken Khap op Saperot (IDR63k), the curry is different with Indian curry, the taste is sweet consist of coconut curry. Fish sour & sweet (Pla Sam Rod, IDR99k), they cut it into small pieces only the meat without the bone, the sauce so tasty. Kwetiau Pad thai (Thai's kwetiau) (IDR62k), the taste is funny sweet with peanut bean strout and kucai (thin green leaves) and u need to put lime on it. Pineapple fried rice (Keng Kewan Kai) (IDR71k), they put cashew nut on it and small salt fish however little bot of pineapple. Tomiauw with small salt fish (if not mistaken, Pad Luk Kana Plakem) (IDR61k), the vegetable quite crunchy. For the drinks, we ordered Thailand iced tea (IDR30k) the taste same like other restaurants (tea with milk), another one is Thai Tamarind Soda (IDR35k), it is different like other drinks tamarind combined with soda so complicated taste but happy. Overall it is so yummy & cozy to eat here. When we ate here, mango sticky rice...
Read morefor a restaurant in grand indonesia, this was surprisingly reasonably priced, and for big sharing portions too. thai dishes were also tasty and enjoyable to eat. place was really full and waiting list during fasting season but service kept up really well.
pineapple fried rice was among one of the most ordered dish. was surprised of how well the pineapple matches the fried rice flavor, adding a bit of fruity sweetness and acidity.
baby kailan with crispy pork. baby kailan was the main star of the dish, crispy, well cooked, and great tasty sauce. crispy pork was great, although not really fitting in this dish because it becomes soggy after a while.
mango tango was essentially mango sticky rice with additional mango flavored side dishes. the real mango fruit sadly was underwhelming, sour and bit dry. sticky rice was a little too sticky but good hint of sweetness and fragrance. mango pudding was decent. mango ice cream was also decent. overall this dish had too much mango flavored in one plate, but overall a must try sharing menu.
overall recommended place to have some thailand food, looking forward to...
