We came by twice during our stay at Westin. Each time, we were treated amazingly well. In fact, that is why we write this review. We were greeted with amazing smiles and can feel the warmness of the welcome. Our first package was a couple's scrub and massage. Our masseur Anik and Anis, we very experienced. You can tell by the questions they ask to make sure that the session is well suited to your needs. The ambience of the spa is tranqulising. Anil and Anis' hands are magical as they put us at ease during the relaxing session. For our second visit, Heavenly spa decided to extend their spa heated rooms and pools with compliments. The herbal room was a unique feature that they had. Truly the facilities there were first class, clean and very up to date. My wife's hair was treated by Juni, and my massage was done by Desi. Again, we had the most amazing time. I think no one can fully describe how calm it really feels when a masseur puts you into such a relaxing state. You have to experience it yourself. Spa director Susi came at the end of the session to find out how we were. What struck me about Susi is that she has totally infused the philosophy of Balinese culture and beliefs about life into the running of the spa. It was then that it made sense that what we experienced was truly the Balinese way of living with the environment, and how to be one with nature is a big part of their life. For that, she has done an exceptional job and kept the standards and beyond of any facility. The ladies at the spa are truly exceptional. A very upmarket and tastefully designed spa staffed by very well-trained professionals who pay keen attention to details. You choose your treatment after a consultation by the desk staff who clearly explains your selections to you. You are then asked if there is any area of concern you would like to highlight or any other areas you would like focussed on. After this, you are led into the treatment rooms which are tastefully designed and spacious. There is also a patio beyond the double doors in each treatment room for you to enjoy after your massage. Before your treatment, your masseuse explains to you clearly the treatment she is about to conduct on you. Staff are very well trained and will alter their treatments or ask you for feedback in a non-intrusive manner. Your spa treatment comes with complimentary use of the sauna and jacuzzi which you can use before or after your spa treatment or even on another day if time does not permit you to use it on the same day. After your spa treatment, you will be served a platter consisting of nuts, strawberries and a chocolate bar accompanied by a pot of ginger tea. The facilities at the Heavenly spa feels really posh and exclusive - there is a special section for their clients to change their clothes with locker service, shower room, sauna and hot/cold pool for dipping. However, I was not informed about these facilities during my booking so I only had 10mins before my facial treatment to dip in the cold pool. The same evening I have booked the Mommy & Me package thinking I can spend some time with my 6 year old daughter by the beach enjoying our treatment but it turned out that the mommy gets a 30mins massage alone by the beach and my daughter gets her hair braided at the Westin kids spa. Note that you have to pay extra per braid if you want to add colour to the braids. I was only informed about this on the spot so of course I’ll pay the extra. Aside from all the confusion and poor communication, the one person that makes all the difference was Adini who did the braids for my daughter. She was super friendly and very professional.
