UNO Restoran — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

To the Owner in charge of UNO, please listen. You certainly need to change the mindset of your 3 incompetent serving staff - 2 ladies and 1 man. The whole restaurant has several empty tables so it couldn’t be that your 3 servers are busy till they couldn’t manage the crowd. We are a group of Asian clients.

We waited for a long while after a group of non-Asian clients were being served almost immediately when they entered.

Nobody served us. I called out to the lady in red behind the high counter. She saw me but pretended not to see. She could have signalled to a colleague to help but she didn’t. Then I literally stopped the path of the male server and he had to force a smile to ask me how many guests I have. We have 9. A big group. His first statement was it’s going to be a long wait if I wanted to order food. But I told him we are only here for drinks. He brought us to a table said he will arrange the table and left. He kept all of us standing and he didn’t return. We arranged our own table and chairs then.

We raised our hands to any of the 3 servers for a menu but all ignored us. Did we sense some discrimination here? Only your staff will know. We approached the counter lady for a menu and she rebut with a disgruntled face that we can wait.

After we got the menu, we sat down to pick our orders and when we were ready, we called out to the staff. One by one we called, they saw us and walked away.

When we think we hit our threshold, we walked up to them and told them about our frustrations . We asked for their names. They have no names because they refuse to give us. We asked for the manager, we were told there’s none.

We waited a while more to see if they will serve us.They didn’t despite us sharing our displeasure. They continued to serve their other clients and perhaps intentionally allowed us to wait.

We walked off in a huff. All of us. This experience had really tarnished the reputation of UNO in Bali collection - a respectable restaurant sited at a prestige location in Bali.

I do hope all other guests will read about this. We had not even had a chance to be served let alone comment and review on the food quality. Staff attitude is really key in hiring. It’s all about getting the best people to be your ambassadors. Your 3 staff had been a bane to UNO’s reputation as a world class...

This was, hands down, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.

We were a group of six and placed our full order at the table. After waiting far too long, only three meals were brought out. The rest of us were left sitting in silence while half the table ate. When we asked the staff about the missing food, they insisted we hadn’t ordered it, which was completely untrue. After going back and forth, they finally admitted the mistake and promised the rest would arrive in 10 minutes.

Instead, we waited another 39 minutes.

But it didn’t stop there. A waiter eventually came over with a tomato soup, insisting it was ours, it wasn’t. As she aggressively removed it from the table, she nearly spilled the hot soup on my legs. No apology. Just a look of frustration like it was my fault. When I reacted, she made a face, raised her voice at me in front of everyone, and started shouting. The tone and aggression were so overwhelming that I was literally brought to tears at the table.

Not once did anyone come to check in, offer support, or apologise for the chaos. The service was not just disorganised, it was hostile and emotionally distressing.

This was not just bad service, it was humiliating and unsafe. I’ve never been treated so poorly in a restaurant.

Avoid this place at all costs. No one deserves to be treated like this while simply trying to...

I am happy to write a 5-star review for Uno Italian Restaurant. My dining experience at this establishment was nothing short of exceptional, thanks in large part to the outstanding service provided by two of their wait staff, Olan and Uni.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly attitudes. Olan and Uni made sure that my dining experience was not only comfortable but also enjoyable. They were attentive to my needs, making sure that my glass was never empty and that my food was served promptly.

The food at Uno Italian Restaurant was also top-notch. From the appetizers to the entrees, every dish was prepared with care and attention to detail. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was beautiful.

What really made my experience at Uno Italian Restaurant stand out, though, was the impeccable service provided by Olan and Uni. They went above and beyond to make sure that I had an enjoyable experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu, made great recommendations, and were always available when I needed anything.
