I recently dined at Buka Restaurant in Kuta and had an incredible experience. The food was outstanding—our dish was bursting with fresh flavors and expertly prepared. I almost lost my tooth from the rock that was served up with my chicken chimichanga. Yes, a ROCK!!! My husband assumed it was a black chicken bone, because might I add that he also found a sizeable bone in the same dish, but A ROCK!? This shook me to my core. The atmosphere of the restaurant is overall enjoyable, however every time I was about to take a bite of my food, someone working for the restaurant would take a photo of me in action- and with professional camera. I didn’t sign anything to say I agree to being used for business content. This made me feel uncomfortable. The food lacks flavour, and the meat is dry. There is no kick to any of the dishes. The seafood boil had an enjoyable and well seasoned light broth, but needed more of it. It was poorly presented and predominantly potato with barely any seafood.
