Upon arrival the cashier seemed high or drunk. He proceeded to take my order but in a less than convincing manner. When I requested a milkshake he initially went to take my payment but when ushered by other staff members he passed on the information that unfortunately milkshakes were no longer available.
This venue only has around 12 items on the menu so imagine my surprise when 3 of them are unavailable on a Friday night.
The āmanagerā I spoke with was unprofessional and tried to convince me that due to the teams ālevel of experienceā that making a milkshake was unachievable - even though it wasnāt busy at all.
After placing my order I proceeded to wait for 18 Minutes for 2 burgers and 1 side of fries. Without communication for the wait or apology.
As someone who works in hospitality I was highly disappointed by my visit here and will not be returning anytime soon. I urge you to employ a higher level of staff - this place was not fit...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband recently visited this restaurant after watching a boxing match, he had traveled to Dublin from Swansea. He couldnāt have praised it anymore, the food was outstanding, restaurant was clean and tide and the staff were happy to take his order, following on from this he left his mobile in the restaurant, I contacted the owner of the restaurant to see if the phone had been handed in to which it had, I wanted to arrange a courier to come and collect the phone but the owner offered to take it to the local courier and ship it over him self, we all know this didnāt have to be done as itās time out of someone else day! we received the phone back within two days of contacting the shop. Itās such a lovely thing to think there are still some really kind people in the world along with good quality food and customer service. Safe to say my husband canāt wait to return to order the dirty fries and burger and to personally thank the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey say "fresh Angus beef" and continuely emphasise fresh, but my 'Dubl'n it up' burger was made from pre-cooked patties, in other words, they're not cooking them fresh on a HOT hot plate, they're heating them up on a WARM hot plate. Reminds me of that episode of Kitchen Nightmares where Ramsey goes to a BBQ place that's cooking the meat the day before and then microwaving it the next day before serving. Of course this place is not at all that bad, but it's on the road, unfortunately. Personally, I can't tell the difference between regular beef and Angus beef, but if they're not fussed about cooking it properly, they're doubtful concerned about quality in other areas. Can't give less than 3-stars because I enjoyed it and the staff were great, but objectively it was just slightly bigger and better than...
