€34 Euro for "Fillet Steak" 3 separate pieces of what i can only describe as beef left overs were "presented" to me as Fillet Steak, i couldn't believe what this restaurant was trying to fob off on me. I asked the waiter what was it, and he said it was a fillet steak sliced !? I'm ok with a fillet being sliced but then he told me this is the way they get them.. fillet pieces separate! I asked him to get me a replacement as i asked for Medium and i couldnt even cut it. 30 mins ( how does it take 30 mins to cook medallions of beef?) after ( everyone else had finished their mains ) 3 separate medallions of steak came out ( still not medium) and by that point i didnt even care. My potatoes were reheated and burned to a crisp. I understand restaurants are fining it hard, but advertising something as a fillet and charging €34 for it is outrageous. My starter was €12.50 for slices of tomato with no taste and a cheap mozzarella with sprinkles of oregano another rip off. Wines are cheap vinegar again charging over price for generic wines. Would not recommend this Italian as an experience.

I'm not trying to rain on this restaurants parade BUT i dont mind paying for something nice. Anything i personally received...

I recently dined at this Italian restaurant, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The place is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were professional and welcoming, and the service was smooth at the start of our meal.

The food was excellent! Every dish, from the appetizers to the main course, was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared.

That said, the end of the meal could have been better. After waiting over 15 minutes for the dessert menu, we waited another 25 minutes without anyone coming to take our order. In the end, we chose to have dessert elsewhere.

It was a small disappointment in what was otherwise a great dining experience. I still recommend the restaurant for its quality food and lovely ambiance. With a bit more attentiveness at the end of the meal, it would be excellent from...

After a long long day out in Kilkenny, we had so many choices for a quick bite for supper. Neither one of us were all that hungry, but something about the sound of having wood fire pizza drew us to Cafe Topolis. Upon entering we were asked if we had reservations; but that didn’t stop our server from making a quick inquiry and promptly seating us.

The wife didn’t want to drink, but I decided on a Peroni (from Italy you know..lol). We ordered meatballs as an appetizer and a Roma pizza. The meatballs were delicious while our pizza was ok. Tasted just fine, but perhaps our expectations over took us.

Nonetheless, if you’re looking to have a date night or a long evening meal with friends, this is the place for you. The wait staff gives you plenty of time to...

Great, cute Italian spot to enjoy a meal in Dublin. Diverse menu with Italian favorites, classic pastas, and pizzas. Food quality was high, advertised local ingredients, and service was great. My dietary requests were accommodated well. Call ahead to reserve a 4-top next to the windows for the best seats. There are a few areas for improvement: The restaurant can get warm, smoky and stuffy unless staff opens the door, the menu does not list allergen ingredients like many other restaurant menus, the server’s English language skills were very limited resulting in a mistake with our order, and white wines by the bottle pricing seemed high at €38-€42 per bottle. However, the pizzas were quite delicious, made in a proper pizza oven, and overall still a delightful experience.
