My visit to this restaurant approximately two months ago has left me compelled to express my deep dissatisfaction with the establishment's approach to service. As a conscientious diner, I made a reservation, fully cognizant of the 90-minute time limit stipulated on their website.

Regrettably, the experience that unfolded was far from what I anticipated. My friend and I arrived at the restaurant and was seated in a cramped corner. We placed our order and the dishes arrived 20 minutes later. We had to place some of the plates on the couch which was directly next to our table due to a lack of space. We completed our meal within a mere 30 minutes. To my astonishment, before we even had a chance to contemplate dessert, the waiter efficiently cleared our table and insistently pushed us toward payment.

In an attempt to make the best of the situation, we decided to indulge in a simple coffee, a request met with an unconvincing claim of a broken coffee machine. This served as an initial red flag, indicative of the establishment's intentions. Sensing the need for a brief departure, I excused myself to the restroom and left my companion to request the bill, a seemingly straightforward task that morphed into a display of imprudent and coercive behavior.

According to my companion, the waiter, upon delivering the bill, shoved the card machine in his face pand demanded immediate payment without allowing us even a moment to confer. Upon my return, I was greeted with this discourteous display, and the situation took a more hostile turn. We were approached individually by not one, but a succession of staff members who implored us to vacate the table posthaste. The reason provided was the presence of customers impatiently waiting - not patrons with prior bookings, but those queueing for entry. Notably, we had a full 40 minutes remaining in our reservation.

It pains me to express my disappointment as I used to be a regular customer of this establishment until this unsettling experience. Notably, I have come across other reviews online detailing similar experiences of customers being asked to vacate their tables immediately upon finishing their meals. This points to a concerning pattern of behavior at this establishment. Such undue haste, pressuring tactics, and a flagrant disregard for our intended dining experience left an indelibly poor impression. While I respect the necessity for efficient table management, this experience was tantamount to hospitality malpractice. Dining out should be an occasion of leisure and pleasure, but our visit to this establishment was marred by undue haste and a palpable...

Deeply disappointing and unwelcoming experience.

I’ve been to Thailand three times and one of my favourite memories is enjoying mango and sticky rice. It’s something I was genuinely excited to share with my mom for the first time. We chose this restaurant based on that, but the experience left me really upset.

As I tried to order two mango and sticky rice dishes, the woman behind the counter cut me off to ask if it was for takeaway. I said no, we wanted to eat in. She told us that we couldn’t have mango and sticky rice inside, only for takeaway. My mom then tried to order chicken wings, but we were told we still couldn’t sit down unless we ordered a main course.

This isn’t some exclusive, high end restaurant where you expect strict rules or a reservation only policy. It’s just a regular degular casual spot, so being told we couldn’t sit and eat dessert felt completely unnecessary and honestly ridiculous.

We weren’t even allowed to wait inside - she told us to go outside. There was no warmth, no smile, we felt like we were being pushed out. I’ve never been treated like this at any restaurant, especially not in Thailand. It was honestly shocking and really sad.

When I get the mango sticky rice I was shocked because the portion was way too small for €8.50. There wasn’t even any seeds on top (the traditional Thai way). I was charged €8.5 for what looked like a quarter portion of rice and just a sliver of mango. Honestly, it felt like a joke. Daylight robbery. I’ve had mango and sticky rice many times in Thailand, and this was nowhere near worth that price, especially given how we were treated.

Afterward, we went to Musashi and the difference in service was incredible. They invited my mom to sit while she waited, brought her order outside by hand when she went out for fresh air and even gave us sweets. That’s what hospitality looks like.

The way we were treated at this first place made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. I won’t support this restaurant again, not just because of a policy, but because of the cold and dismissive way we...

My family and I came to visit Ireland from New York City and at first, we sought to sample the local cuisine which was OK, but we soon began to crave a little more spice and flavor. As we sat in our hotel room in downtown Dublin, the rain pouring down outside, we scoured the internet for the city’s best Thai. We might very well have found it in Full Moon. After having tried a couple other restaurants that were closer to us (one kitchen was closed even though it was only 21:00, the other would only take takeout/delivery orders on an app unfamiliar to me as a foreigner) we saw that Full Moon had a solid 4.7 and in hungry desperation we called and placed an order without even looking at the menu. Despite my disorganization in ordering, the man who took my order was informative, polite and helpful. For example, He clarified that red curry could not be made mild as their cooking was very authentic. He recommended Massaman curry that was indeed mild and still quite good. He understood that others in the party needed their food made very spicy, and I must admit we had a confusing order with which dishes should be made mild, regular spicy or extra spicy. Mind you - as a family of South Asians from NYC we have sampled many Thai restaurants and also have a tolerance for heat. We found the flavors were very good, the hot dishes were indeed hot, and the orders were all correct. The food was made right on time, and it was well worth the walk in the rain to go pick it all up. FYI we also ordered drunken noodles and the veggie fried rice. The kids in our party enjoyed their orders and all the adults commented on the tastiness of the food. Thank you...
