I had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant that I just had to leave a review. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a touch of homely charm that makes you feel at ease right away.

Now, let’s talk about the food — absolutely delicious! Every dish I tried was full of flavour, made with fresh ingredients, and clearly prepared with a lot of love and care. You can really tell that the kitchen takes pride in what they do. The spices were balanced perfectly, the portions were generous, and everything was served hot and fresh. It’s the kind of food that not only satisfies your hunger but warms your heart too. It honestly reminded me of a home-cooked meal — and that’s not something you find often in restaurants these days.

I’ve been a regular customer at Dublin Chicken and Rice, often grabbing a takeaway on my way to work. Unfortunately, the service and food quality have been consistently disappointing—and today was no exception.

I ordered the Kabuli Palaw and left it in my car for just about an hour before my lunch break. When I opened the container, I was hit with a strong, unpleasant smell coming from the rice and meat. It was clear the meat was off, and I had no choice but to throw the whole thing away. To make matters worse, the drink I ordered was missing from the bag entirely.

Service was equally frustrating. I waited nearly 15 minutes for my order, despite being in a rush and clearly explaining I was on my way to work. It felt like there was no urgency or concern from the staff.

This isn’t a one-time issue—I’ve experienced poor service and questionable food quality here more than once. The rice often tastes old, like it’s been sitting for days and just reheated. It’s unacceptable that they continue to sell food in this condition.

The only redeeming part of the menu is the chicken kebab, which is usually decent—but that alone doesn’t make up for the overall poor standards.
