Pastel King — Restaurant in Dublin

So disappointed with this restaurant!!!. I just paid for 3 "pastels" to takeaway and got my order wrong. I'm sure these girls knew what they were doing as they were pointed at me and talking about my order, even though I don't speak Portuguese I could understand a bit. Then I started to suspect and counted the pastels when they gave them to me and everything looked ok... got home and guess what???. I WAS RIGHT!!!, they gave me a different order (intentionally). This is the second time this happens to me, first time I order one calabresa with cheese and got a veggie 🤦🏻‍♀️. Please don't treat people as if they were stupid just because they don't...

It’s a delight to be able to find and eat Brazilian pastel and snacks. I couldn’t drink the sugar cane juice because there was no sugar cane at the time, but I will go back.

The pastel is better than it used to be a while ago. It’s less oily and a little smaller, though loaded. The atmosphere I don’t really like as there isn’t enough room to fit everybody and as it is inside the market it’s busy! Too many people coming and going.

The place itself is inside a store, which isn’t the most traditional setting for a meal, but it does the job. I tried the pastels, and they were quite good—crispy on the outside and with a tasty filling inside. The service was fairly quick, which is always a plus, especially if you’re in a hurry.
