Disappointed with the Drastic Quality Drop

I used to love the egg fried rice from this place—it was my go-to! It used to be packed with plenty of egg, fresh spring onions, and had that perfect balance of flavor. Sadly, those days are long gone.

Now, you'd practically need a microscope to find any trace of egg. It's like they’re playing a game of "spot the egg," and trust me, it’s not fun when you’re hungry. The dish feels bland and lifeless compared to what it used to be.

I tried reaching out to the restaurant to share my concerns, hoping it was just a one-time slip-up. Unfortunately, my experience with their customer service was just as disappointing. I called, but the lady on the phone hung up on me the moment I started explaining the issue. I then tried contacting them via their website form—no response. I even reached out through WhatsApp, and guess what? Silence.

It’s really sad to see such a drastic decline, both in food quality and customer service. I genuinely used to enjoy their food, but after this experience, I’m left disappointed and frustrated. Definitely not the...

Trying to do Dublin on a budget meant we wanted food that was tasty but also good value for money... and this was it! Our eyes were caught by the meat hanging in the heater by the window but we got 2 Spicy Boxes (at €8.50 each) and they lived up to the name! Once prepared the food was put in a thermal bag for us to take back to our hotel, we didn't expect much from the bag as there was a small gap either end at the top but when we opened the bag there was condensation inside from the heat of the food, which was still piping hot and not soggy either! Tasty battered meat (I think Pork), onion and salt and chilli chips! Neither of us have a small appetite but we both struggled to finish the box off! One box would have done both of us with some dessert or sides. Our only regret is we're here for such a short time we can't have...

We ventured into this new restaurant because we were dying to try the duck. And as a self-proclaimed lover of Bantam soup, I just had to have a taste of it. Gotta say, I was loving the vibe. Everything exuded friendliness, and the flowers were perfectly placed – a feast for the eyes! Even though it seemed hectic and like it had been a stressful day, everyone remained professional and friendly.☺

As for the food, I really can't complain. It was served promptly and was absolutely delicious. I just wished for a bit spicier chili oil, but hey, I understand not everyone has the same taste for heat – especially us Caucasians, haha! 😂

But that's really my only gripe. Oh, and we even got a little gift – a cute notebook. I got one in pink, which matched my pink hair perfectly. I'd say it was a thoroughly enjoyable...
