This was a nice little Italian restaurant with big flavour dishes. We were looking for something different from the usual pub food, and we were very pleased with our meals. The spaghetti carbonara with crispy guanciale (like pancetta or bacon) was silky smooth and one of the best carbonaras I've ever had. The penne arrabbiata was also very good. We sat across from the pizza oven and their pizzas looked great. Service was great, and our server Dario did a fine job. There is a small patio outside the front of the store, but plenty of seating in the back of the restaurant.

We came here whilst visiting Ireland, a nice family run Italian, staff are friendly! Food was nice! Carbonara was a little bland but good portion size and presented well! Overall good value for money, especially being near temple bar! Weirdly we were the only ones in here on a Sunday night at 7.30pm, normally this would put you off a restaurant but we did not leave disappointed, if you want some good food away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the temple bar, give this place a try! I didn't try the pizzas but they look great!

I went for my friends birthday. The pizza was pretty big and tasted really nice. The prices for the meals were pretty reasonable the drinks and sides were a tiny bit pricey but it didn't take away from the experience. The staff was very nice and welcoming, they brought out the cake and sang happy birthday. Overall It made the experience really nice too. Would recommend.

We’ve been going to Val’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria for the past couple of months with our friends and family, and it’s easily become one of our favorite spots in the city. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming the perfect mix of authentic Italian charm and Dublin friendliness.

Owen is always fantastic, remembering our favorite pizza and drinks every time we visit. The staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel right at home.

The food is simply delicious from the wood fired pizzas with that perfect crispy crust to the rich, homemade sauces and fresh pasta dishes. You can really taste the care and quality in every bite. It’s hard to beat a Margherita straight from their Italian made oven or a hearty Bolognese that tastes just like it came from a family kitchen in Naples.

Highly recommend for anyone who loves real Italian food and great service. Val’s is a gem in...

Nice looking place, but that's it. x2 slices of pizza and can over €20-,+. If you take away apparently it's cheaper, but it doesn't say anywhere that. I wouldn't mind if that would be fresh out of oven and exceptional (What it was not, because it was barely Re-heated), but pizza which had to be re-heated after who knows how long it was sitting on stand, and only because you eat inside instead of on street in rain it cost you extra.

One of highest rated pizza places in town is just around the corner (Bambinos) and you can get fresh from oven pizza slice for half the price.

Hate putting bad review out, but this is just "Never again" places. Not worth the money by a mile. You should say to your customers that they can't avail of your displayed offer if you are eating inside.. just a...

Yesterday, I ordered the spaghetti pomodoro e gamberi, but unfortunately, the pasta was overcooked and the prawns were not fresh. There wasn’t much sauce either, which made the dish quite bland.

My friend ordered the “antipasto,” expecting the meat option listed on the menu. Instead, she received the vegan platter. When she questioned it, the waiter insisted she had ordered the antipasto—not the “antipasti,” claiming the latter was the meat option. However, according to the menu, antipasto is the meat dish, while the vegan one is clearly labeled “Vegan Discovery Platter.”

The vegan option was also disappointing: just a few rocket leaves, one type of cheese, and some olives—no dressing, no olive oil, and...
