Pedro Capri — Restaurant in Capri

We had such a wonderful dinner at Pedro in Capri! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and even treated to complimentary appetizers from the house – a lovely surprise and a great way to start the evening.

There’s no traditional wine list, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. Instead, we were recommended a wine that perfectly matched our taste – personal, thoughtful, and much better than flipping through pages.

Everything we ordered was delicious: the turbot was perfectly cooked, the fusilli with salsiccia full of flavor, and both the octopus and the Caprese salad were fresh and well-balanced. We ended with the classic tiramisu, made following the original recipe – creamy, light, and just sweet enough.

Service was attentive, kind, and very detail-oriented, and the cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. It’s the kind of place you don’t just eat at – you remember.

After reviewing photos of the food items at Pedro Capri we made a reservation. This is a restaurant you want to go all in, no joke it is top notch high quality ingredients and the service sets a high bar. I don’t do a lot of restaurant reviews but the quality of service by Biagio and the meal prepared by Salvatore, who came by to great us and check in our experience was a chef’s kiss. Truly Biagio proved his craft with an excellent selection of wine to pair with our meal selection. We only had a couple of nights in a Capri town but if I had chance to eat here on multiple nights I would not hesitate. We had the clam pasta and the turbot dish. The pasta was cooked perfect Al dente, the turbot was exceptional in my opinion coming from a fishing background and can appreciate high quality fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. We had just arrived in Capri and were very hungry. So, I looked up the most highly rated restaurant that was serving lunch and found Pedro Capre. My husband and I were “blown away “ by the food and the service. Our servers, Carlo and Biagio, were amazing!! They made excellent suggestions and had the most delightful manner. We were smiling throughout the meal (when we weren’t chewing our food) The house-made foccacia was excellent. The risotto with clams and the eggplant with three sauces were scrumptious. Although we were full, we still ordered one dessert: pannacotta with peach sauce and champagne caviar. Yum!!… silky and “next level” in flavor and presentation. In conclusion, we are planning to return in the next day or two. We will try other recommended restaurants, but the question that lingers: “ Will they measure up to the creativity, flavor, and ambience of Pedro Capre?...
