not so transparent with their pricing. I had a pistachio cheese arancino here and it was really tasty. however the price per piece was written to be only 2.5€. I had only one and then to my surprise he charged me 4 euros! afterwards when I asked him about it he said 2.5 € is the price for take away and if sit inside it's 4€. it was not mentioned anywhere and they also didn't tell me in advance that it will be more expensive if I dine in. which is unusual for eating out in Sicily through out my traveling experience around the island. 1.5 euro markup on top of a 2.5 euro snack doesn't seem so reasonable to me, that would be a ridiculous 60 % service fee! .I hope that they didn't have the intention of ripping me off because I looked like a tourist. anyways if that's really their policy to charge more they should inform the customer in advance. or write it down on their menu.

It is this rare food place on the main street of the city that keeps prices low and quality high (most other places do the opposite). The owner is also the Chef with 50 years of experience, he prepares fantastic local specialities with passion, paying a lot of attention to quality of products... on a hot summer day you grab a panino and go to the green villa nearby to enjoy your meal on a bench in shade...

Elderly gentleman running the place was initially confused, even double checked to make sure that I am pointing at the hand towel looking dish doused in tomato sauce. It was the best tripe I’ve had in Italy. The people at this small charming eatery were all so nice, wine was also good and the prices surprisingly cheap given the quality of the food. Both the glutton and seasoned drinker in me left happy.

Bravi...
