I'm so happy we listened to the other reviews and ate here for lunch while we were in Florence for a week. I just wish we would have tried it a few days earlier. We would have gone back for dinner. I had the spaghetti pomodoro, and my husband had the spinach ravioli with shaved truffle. It was one of our best and favorite meals of the week. The ravioli was heavenly. The glass of wine I was brought was on the verge of turning, and I asked for a fresh glass. I have experience in the wine industry so I really could tell. I wasn't just a wine snob that wanted to complain for no reason. The waiter pulled down from the wall of wine a new bottle for me, and allowed me to try the wine that time, and it was wonderful. He gave me a little attitude about it at first (which was fine), but then admitted later that perhaps the bottle had been opened a few days too long. He said he poured the rest of the bottle out. VERY DISAPPOINTING The service that we received was terrible, my partner and l ordered a pizza to share and the only reason we stopped was because the prices seemed fair and we noticed the fast and attentive service the other customers were receiving It took a bit of time before our order was taken. We ordered a margarita pizza and when the food arrived the sauce was watery and tasteless making the pizza a soggy mess. The crust was also burnt adding a bitter charred taste to the pizza. I feel that the other guests were receiving much more attentive and quick service and even noticed that the bill was brought to them but after waiting for quite some time I got up and asked for the bill myself. The overall tone was very relaxed and the setting was nice with not a lot of guest so it was hard to feel like the lack of attention wasn’t intentional.
