Caffè Degl'Innocenti — Restaurant in Florence

I walked in to grab a coffee and some pastries for me and my partner and checked first that they were accepting card payments since I just had run out of cash and couldn't find an ATM. I ordered and when I was going to pay the woman by the cashier said that the card machine is broken in a coarse way. I apologize and try to explain that I just ran out of cash so then I can't order, unfortunately. She interrupts me and starts shouting at me so loud that all the other guests start staring. She's yelling about how you can't go to other countries without cash etc (which by the way worked great throughout the rest of the city). Oh well, we left but I can't recommend anyone to go here. Scorrettissimi. Domenica sera caffè con POS 1.20 al lunedì mi chiedono 1.30 perché stavo pagando con POS ovvero una scorrettezza totale in quanto in Italia ormai sotto i 10 euro nessuno paga commissioni. Inoltre personale scortese, confermato su più visite in questi mesi. Una struttura del genere meriterebbe la chiusura per sia moralmente che fiscalmente. Vergognatevi. Da aggiungere un bagno che è più “cesso” del bagno di un autogrill sulla Sa-Rc. In ogni caso segnalato al 117 e alla task force del Ministero competente sulle commissioni POS e i supplementi costi transazioni al cliente. Assolutamente sconsigliato.

Dopo la “pessima” risposta della titolare che si sarebbe dovuta scusare per la politica sbagliata del suo bar (certificata anche da altre recensioni viste in giro) aggiungo che consiglierei alla “signora” di informarsi circa le normative vigenti e che alla “dipendente” è stato semplicemente opposto che, da cliente quasi fisso la suddetta so mostra sempre sgarbata e poco cordiale verso i clienti. Ma data la risposta della “titolare” è giustificata. In fondo è il caffè degli “innocenti” 😉

Ricordi anche “cara” titolare che non può, dinanzi ad un reclamo del cliente, decantare l’arma delle telecamere che NON SONO ASSOLUTAMENTE segnalate all’interno (altro motivo per cui sarebbe sanzionabile ulteriormente) ed inoltre non sono utilizzabili per le finalità da lei espresse in più recensioni.

Mi auguro che chi dovere di prenda la briga di procedere a controlli specifici su scontrini, telecamere, servizi...

Tourist spot. Very crowded so don’t expect good and friendly service. Also loud and scrambled in the morning. Worst cornetto in all the neighborhood. And their price is actually on the steep side compared to cafeteria and pastry shops around.
